Unit activities are to be planned on the basis that activities will not include elements of physical contact with another person. 11. Capacity to ensure a clean environment: To minimise potential for spread of infection, as a minimum, each unit should be able to regularly wipe down common surfaces door handles and the like with disinfectant wipes. Work surfaces should be wiped with hot soapy water using a damp sponge or cloth at the conclusion of the activity to remove dirt and grime. This may be substituted using disinfectant surface wipes if the work surface is not overly dirty. All areas that the Cadets and staff use will be cleaned before parade. 12. Preparation and serving of food during a unit parade activity. During cadet activities safe food preparation and handling is to be ensured. 13.
