25.01.2022 These kangaroos are stunning! We just got these in, they are bush inferno and bush diamond. A hardy native, drought tolerant, looking great in pots or in the garden in full sun. They get 60cm tall and 40cm wide. They wont last long with these beautiful flowers. $18.50 each We are open 7 days out at sapphire beach, and now going to be extending our opening hours to 4pm starting this weekend. ... 17.01.2022 We potted up our deciduous trees this week. We have three species of figs, and several ornamentals including: - Japanese maples - London plane tree... - Golden ash - Claret ash - Golden poplar - Weeping willow - Robinia frisia - English elm - Black genoa fig - Brown turkey fig - White adriatic fig If you have the space for one, i recommend a London Plane tree, theyre stunning, and make a great shade tree. At maturity it can become 20 metres tall and 15 metres wide. It has large green leaves similar to a maple, which change gold and brown through autumn. If you have a long driveway on acreage theyre great as an avenue of trees.

16.01.2022 In this week we have Hydrangea tea time. A great plant in a pot or planted in the ground, it prefers a part shaded position with morning sun and shaded in the afternoon. They come in a variety of colours including blue, pink, and white, and like a prune in mid February once flowering is finished. Plants in the nursery are $39.50 each.

06.01.2022 Raphiolepis Snow Maiden or Indian hawthorn, is a hardy, low maitenance shrub great as a border plant, or hedge in the garden bed or specimen plant in a pot. It has beautiful soft scented white flowers, flowering during summer and intermittently through the year with warmer weather. It is compact getting to a height of 75cm, a great low growing hedge. We have them in the nursery for $16.50 ... We are now open till 4pm on weekends.

05.01.2022 New in stock at Coffs Harbour Nursery - WISTERIAS Wisterias are a deciduous climber with scented flowers. They will grow over a sturdy pergola or garden arch, on walls or fences and along verandas. They require strong support in a sunny site in well drained soil with plenty of water over the flowering period. We have available Macrobotrys, Pale Pink Japanese, Chinese Wisteria, Shiro-Kapitan and Japanese varieties

05.01.2022 Tuckeroos are a beautiful native tree. They're great when used in street plantings, public parks or gardens and can thrive on a little bit of neglect. The only thing is, bugs just love eating them. I spotted these tuckeroos at Moonee beach today. 8 out of 10 street trees were great, however two we're suffering from sooty mould, aphids, and scale. ... To help these trees I would give them a spray with a combination of white oil and a insecticide, with a follow up spray 7 to 10 days later. I would then liquid feed each tree to create a stronger, healthy plant. Healthy plants are less vulnerable to attacks from pest or disease. If you find that your plants are getting munched on in the garden, your in luck! This week we got in a range of products to better help take care of your plants. Bring in a photo or cutting of your effected plant, our nursery staff will do there best to diagnose and help solve the problem.

One of the benefits of growing in raised garden vs direct into the ground is that you dont have to bend down to the ground to pull weeds or work with your plants.
