25.01.2022 Do you spend time freely exploring and engaging in the environment with your dog? I like to think of it as being more casual. How do they behave - Mine are always engaged despite not having the typical 'rewards' like food or toys.

25.01.2022 First TTouch Intro workshop of the year is happening in Feb. It's hands on with lots for people to learn. Grab all the details here, but don't take too long - limited places available. http://chewsaustralia.com.au//tellington-ttouch-workshop-2/

21.01.2022 Good article and as it mentions context is very important so I would add shake off as a resettling of hair after being touched as another possibility (not always just I find touch stressful)

20.01.2022 Tessa figuring out how to play with this strange shaped bottle

19.01.2022 Some more great cognitive development. Remember though every dog will have different skills that they excel at.

17.01.2022 We know that taking a break from learning helps with memory but what we do in that break might help as well.

13.01.2022 Great to see more people doing these things although not new in any way. Tellington TTouch has been addressing the sensory side of learning for 30 years or so and has developed a lot of unique tools and techniques to help. The program also sounds very similar to Diane Garrods Canine Emotional Detox. All of it is good for dogs and people though. We have a 5 day workshop in Melbourne very soon for those interested http://ttouchaustralia.convertri.com/workshop2016nov. I also run regular workshops varying from half a day to 2 days and will soon provide an online course to learn as well.

06.01.2022 Demonstrating what we want to teach can often be a very useful way of help another learn. Nice when I see other animals doing this.

04.01.2022 Just started reading 'Are we smart enough to know how smart animals are?' by Fran's De Wales. Lots of quotes to come. "Before we ask if certain animals possess a certain kind of intelligence, especially one that we cherish in ourselves, we need to overcome internal resistance to even consider the possibility. Hence this book's central question: "Are we smart enough to know how smart animals are?" "
