24.01.2022 Pat Williams was a little 'cagey' about having his photograph taken today but its all for a good cause Pat was taking these bikes to work on ready to 'pay it forward', to those who need, or would like a bike to ride. Pat is involved with #SecondCycle through the Lions Club, the group do a fantastic job at recycling bikes that might otherwise end up as scrap. If you, or someone you know of, needs a bike contact the group they may be able to help, or if you have bikes to donate they would love to hear from you too

23.01.2022 Our Vegetable pasties have risen to the occasion today, if you are hungry before you eat one you won't be afterwards! they are full of fresh vegetables and cracked black pepper.

21.01.2022 We're closed but thinking of all of you, we want to see everyone on the other side of this, "circuit break", so please stay safe, look out for you, and therefore everyone else, by doing as we have been asked and we'll get through it. Think of all the hard work that is being done to find everyone who may be a contact, if you haven't got all the pieces then you can't complete the 'jigsaw,' and that's what the testers and tracers have to do, they can complete their job better and faster if we are all where we say we will be, and the virus will struggle to find new hosts, help them to do what they need to do to keep us all safe. See you when the 'circuit' is complete again.

20.01.2022 An honour to hang this banner up outside the Cafe today it represents the determination of all the SA Garden Festival Committee volunteers, who have put everything necessary in place for Covid Safe requirements, in order to be able to hold the event. Well done #sagardenfestivalcommittee.

19.01.2022 As both a baker, and photographer, my eyes are captured by the colour palette that the ingredients for our home made food produce, this colour palette is from our pumpkin cake, aromatic spices, muscovada sugar and #Cumminsmill flour together with home grown pumpkin, all that rich colour and that’s before we add the local eggs, #rhodesfreerange and olive oil, #simpsonricescreek, come and try the finished product. #cogwebshubcafe #homemade

10.01.2022 The best, and 'real' awards, we think, are those given directly from the people who actually visit your premises and experience the services, and products you provide. Restaurant Guru collates their opinions and has recommended us from those customer reviews. Thank you.

02.01.2022 Important information from our Riesling Trail committee Chairman Allan Mayfield, (seen running across the Quarry Road Bridge in photo). The Riesling Trail is having an upgrade at Quarry Road Bridge, Clare. From10th November users of the trail will need to take an alternative route as per the following information below, please pass this on to anyone you know who uses the Riesling Trail regularly and your visitors who may be going on the Trail. The development work is another ...good sign of how much the Trails use continues to grow. Closure of the Riesling Trail from 10 November to 10 December at Quarry Road bridge Please note that the Riesling Trail will be closed at Quarry Road bridge from Tuesday 10 November until Tuesday 8 December. The existing bridge will be removed and a wider bridge installed 4 weeks later. For road traffic, Quarry Road will be blocked either side of the bridge from 9am to 3pm on Tuesday 10 November to remove the existing bridge. Four weeks later, on Tuesday 8 December, this section of Quarry Road will be blocked from 9am to 3pm to install the new bridge. For Riesling Trail users, if travelling south from Clare you will need to exit the trail through the Clare Showgrounds to Horrocks Highway. Continue south along Horrocks Highway to Quarry Road (approx. 1 km) and re-join the Riesling Trail via the track to the right immediately after you pass under the bridgeway on Quarry Road. If travelling north from Sevenhill, leave the trail via the track to the right just before Quarry Road, then travel west on Quarry Road (under this bridgeway) to Horrocks Highway. Travel north on Horrocks Highway and return to the Riesling Trail via the Clare Showgrounds opposite the Visitor Information Centre (corner of Spring Gully Road). Cheers Allan Mayfield
