20.01.2022 Christmas Love & Lessons Its that time of the year again. It can be a busyan sometimes a little stressful right?... but its also a wonderful time of coming together with friends and family to celebrate, have a few drinks and eat lots of food. And after the long year you have hadyou deserve some time off and have some fun! Here's 4lesson's/tips I have leant from 2020- 1 Just BE YOUR SELF, Do more of what makes you happy and spend more time with people who encourage, support & make you smile. 2 Boundaries, Boundaries, Boundaries!! They are a great things to create balance and restore your own energy. Its OK to say No to attend that event or do that thing someone ask you to do. Its not selfish its just looking after your self & filling up your cup first. 3 In the wise words of @tracey__Spencer - Show up and you will be shown! You don't need to do all the things or know all the things at once you just need to take those first steps in that direction & the next steps will come to you. 4 In order to grow and expand your business, you must learn to first grow & expand Your Self! 18.01.2022 Proposalversary On this day 5 years ago was the day my now husband Ash proposed to me Here's a little story of how the day went...... It was in 2015, this day I wasn't feeling very well and actually had a chest infection. Though Ash was currently working fifo at the time and he flew out the next day so he planned to take me out for dinner. (If he wasn't flying out next day I probably would have stayed home in bed ) We started off the night with a beautiful dinner at Frasers restaurant in Kings Park (which is actually were we had our first dinner date ) After dinner Ash said let's go for a little walk in Kings Park As we were walking I ask for his jacket because It was quite cold, he said to me not just yet... I was like but I'm cold now lol (was a little strange). Then he was looking around like he had lost something (This is when I started to think somethings up)... As we walked a little further we came to a gazebo over looking the city with candles, rose petals around it, balloons as we walked in and I looked up it to see the big banner- Danielle Will You Marry Me? (Though as Ash was a bit lost trying to find it, we actually walked in the wrong way because I wasn't meant to see the banner first haha ) So he got down on one knee and ask me to marry him I was actually a little nervous/excited at this point and went to grab the ring to put on my finger with Ash still on one knee said you haven't said yes yet haha (For some reason in that moment I thought you had to put the ring on first before you said yess ) Well of course I said YES! It was a beautiful, special and funny day to look back on. We have now been married for two years already coming up to our 3rd anniversary this year I would love to hear your proposal story? Did you know when it comes to wedding catering there is 1 thing that you may not be aware of is.. Vendor Meals. Now vendor work really hard to bring your day together. From 8-12 + hours a day without a break. So one thing they look forward to is having a meal which let's be honest usually gets scoft down then back to work Here is a list of Common vendors that usually require a main meal: Photographer Videographer Wedding Planner Coordinator DJ/Band MC Most venues will ask about vendor meals! Now if your doing a sit down menu- it's normally just a 'Main Meal' they do not require entree or dessert (unless your feeling generous coz who doesn't love a slice of that yummy wedding right? ) Please note not every vendor requires a meal, it's souly based on the vendor & their hours of services. Which will be stated on contract There might be other vendors not on this list, so when it comes to confirming finial numbers for catering & venue be sure to check over your contracts & talk to your vendors to confirm whether they require a vendor meal.
