13.01.2022 AHURI is doing a project on Co-op Housing. The survey closes soon, please send this to anyone you know living in a co-op so they can circulate it to the appropriate person. The hope is that this will help create better asset management practices. Here is the info from AHURI: We are currently running a national survey. ... We are asking senior managers to complete this survey which will inform the Development of an Australian Social Housing Advanced Asset Management Framework. The responses to the survey will aggregated and nothing you provide will be attributable to your organisation. The product of the research will be a Advanced Asset Management Framework suitable for Australian Social Housing providers. This will be freely available. This research is being conducted by RMIT University, University of SA and Swinburne University of Technology and is funded by the Australian Housing & Urban Research Institute Ltd (AHURI) (www.ahuri.edu.au). The Australian Social Housing Advanced Asset Management (ASHAAM) framework: (i) will outline asset management processes and criteria for making decisions; (ii) is suitable to the specific and unique aspects of social housing; (iii) will be flexible enough to be used by different types of social housing providers; (iv) will provides metrics to drive organisational excellence, and; (v) provide the basis for national regulation and policymaking.
