24.01.2022 Evening everyone! This will be our program for this week. Now that we have just about all the registrations done we can have a set program. We have 3 rotating programs. We will post each week which program we are doing. Reminder that we need parents to help run our program each week. Please make sure you put your name on the list at sign up. Without helpers we cannot run events. We aim to start right on 6 if we don’t have enough helpers it will delay the evening. ... If you are unsure of the job and need help please ask we are more than happy to explain and help you. We understand many families are new to the club and may not be aware of how each event works but please don’t be afraid to get in and have a go. Unfortunately I am missing again this week I am looking forward to being back next Friday to see everyone! Thanks Rachael.

23.01.2022 Hi All. Program for tomorrow night. Remember to be there at 5.45pm for a 6pm start. Canteen will be open! Leo lions will be running a raffle tomorrow night to help support the community work they do. 0.50c a ticket. ... If you are available from 5pm to help set up that would be greatly appreciated! Each week we need parents to volunteer to help run events. The jobs are simple but very important. Please help our night by putting your name down on the help sheet when you sign in. If you are unsure about a job please don’t hesitate to ask our committee they will be happy to help. See you all tomorrow.

21.01.2022 Cohuna Leo's Raffle for this Friday's Athletics is a $50 voucher for the sports store. Thanks to Ian! $1 a ticket drawn at the end of the evening. Tickets sold on the night however if anyone would like to buy a ticket before the night this can be arranged.

21.01.2022 Hi Program for Friday night listed below. Few things-... - please remember that track takes place over other events. If you are at an event and get called to track you must leave event go to track then return to event. This will mean you do not always do events in the order they are listed. - Sign in please arrive in enough time to allow for sign in. We like to start at 6pm. We are there from 5pm. - Helpers - when signing the registration for you child it does ask that you assist in the running of events from week to week. Most events need 3 people to run. We will ensure that there is an offical at each event so we need people to write results and hold measuring tapes. If we don’t have enough helpers at events we will not run them. Please make sure your name is on the help list when you sign in. - Parents please do not drop your child off and leave. It is a requirement that there is an adult present at all times. This is also stated on the registrations. The committee is busy running the night and we cannot be responsible for every child. I know we keep posting about these issues but it is causing stress when we cannot get the help we need. We want the club to run smoothly and to get through the night at a reasonable time. We are all volunteers and do it for children but we cannot do it alone. Thank you see you all Friday!! Rachael.

18.01.2022 Congratulations to our team of four athletes that competed at Deniliquin's 50 year carnival today. The sun has finally set on a very long, and rather warm day. Each of our athletes performed incredibly well, all coming home with a number of medals each! Their performances were amazing and their sportsmanship was incredible. Congratulations Aiden, Finlay, Sophie and Brady!

18.01.2022 Albury Open Day Update - we have had lots of questions in regards to our open day so a quick update for you all. *Yes - entries will be open to ALL Victorian ce...ntres as well as NSW & ACT that wish to compete. You just need to be a fully registered athlete with your centre to be able to compete. We would love to see some of our Metro friends that have been asking to come along :) *Entries will be via Results HQ - you may be able to see it in the portal however it is closed until final checks are complete. We WILL post as soon as it is open. *Yes this year we are not offering U17/U20 or Open entries. The reason for this is we are under strict venue and government Covid restrictions in regards to the number of attendees at the track. A committee decision was made to allow Little Athletes first chance to get back on the track, to visit and see their friends as we recognise that many children have done it tough particularly in Victoria and our metro centres. Should numbers allow we will then open entries up to the Open athletes. If anyone would like further clarification around this decision please email albury@ lavic.com.au *We will provide further updates as they occur :)

Trialling members, can you please register online as a trialling member, remember you have two trial weeks before committing fully for some this week will be your second week, others it will be your first.
