You dont have to be an expert to keep the conversation going when someone says theyre not OK. By knowing what to say you can help someone feel supported and access appropriate help long before theyre in crisis, which can make a really positive difference to their life. 17.01.2022 Week three of Bravely Being Me saw Jodie from Brave Heart Wellbeing take the girls on a mindful re-framing thoughts journey. We looked at the below the line body image thoughts, the feelings that result from them and what we do from there to re-frame them into above the line responses. A short video was screened demonstrating that there is a large amount of staging behind creating social influence photos reminding us not to compare ourselves to these images.... As always, the session finished up with a mindful meditation leading us into next weeks session of Accepting Me: Part 1. For more information call 9400 4228.
