23.01.2022 If you live in Colac or are visiting Colac it is strongly recommended that you wear a face covering when leaving home. Wearing a face covering protects you and your community by providing an additional physical barrier to coronavirus (COVID-19). Keeping 1.5 metres between yourself and others and washing your hands are still the best defences against coronavirus (COVID-19) and wearing a mask adds another layer of protection.... The recommendation to wear a face covering does not apply to children under 12 years, individuals with breathing difficulties, and those who have physical conditions that make it difficult to wear a face covering. Children who are two years or younger must not wear face coverings as they are a choking and suffocation risk. How do I wear a face covering correctly? Refer to the DHHS website: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/ How do I wash my cloth mask? Refer to the DHHS website: https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/ #covi19 #coronavirus #keepcolacsafe
