24.01.2022 It is with deep regret that we advise the sudden passing of our popular & very valued team member Joseph Bagley known as Monk. Monk will be greatly missed by all at Colac Taxis and the wider community. Many would remember him as a friendly driver with a great smile & an American accent, others more recently as the friendly voice answering the phone. His passing has left a hole in our team and our hearts which will not be easily filled. Deepest sympathy to his family

04.01.2022 Today I had a phone call from a young lady who wanted me to pass on her congratulations to one of our Indian born local drivers. She said " He saw an elderly lady struggling & jumped out of his cab to assist her". Thank you so much for calling and letting me know as when I told him it made his day and he went home with a big grin on his face. It was nice for him to be recognized for a his good deed especially as he has recently suffered some verbal abuse recently. Everyone should realize that all of us or our families at some point came to this country for a better life and he is doing the same. He has a Masters Degree from an Indian University and he is making his way by driving a Taxi so as not to be a burden on anyone else until he is able to upgrade his degree and continue in his chosen profession. WELL DONE AJ
