24.01.2022 DID YOU KNOW?? Each September, the wood frogs of Alaska do a very strange thing: They freeze. They do not freeze totally solid, but they do freeze mostly solid. Two-thirds of their body water turns to ice. If you picked them up, they would not move. If you bent one of their legs, it would break.... Inside these frozen frogs other weird physiological things are going on. Their hearts stop beating, their blood no longer flows and their glucose levels sky rocket. The craziest thing of all may be that in this frozen state, they can withstand temperatures as low as zero degrees Fahrenheit for as long as seven months, and then, when spring arrives, thaw out and hop away. Now that's a really COLD FROG!

20.01.2022 We have been busy as ever the last few weeks, working in closely with friends at other companies to help complete some larger jobs. Here is some before and after photos of a split system installation we completed last week in combination with Christian from Mr Fix It Cairns. Box Air conditioner removed, wall blocked up, gyprock repaired, external wall rendered and both inside and outside paint refinished with correct colour match.

The suitable applicant will be proficient in fault finding and diagnosis of Air conditioning and refrigeration systems, installation of split system Air conditioners and have an eye for detail. 12.01.2022 We found this little guy wedged up behind the evaporator fan on a customers aircon while completing some cleaning this afternoon. We carefully disassembled the unit and safely relocated him back into the garden outside. He was very lucky not to be injured by the fan.

11.01.2022 We found this happy little frog hiding in a customers aircon this week. He hopped off into the garden where he will be much safer.
