25.01.2022 Ask your builder T I P #14 :: HIS + HERS There comes a time where there is nothing more luxurious than having a little bit of space to call your own. When designing the master bedroom consider some his and her spaces: designates wardrobes spaces, two sinks in master ensuite, an office nook to accommodate two. If you are taking time to design your space, make sure there enough room for both of you.
24.01.2022 There are obvious things to think about when designing a home for the first time, like choosing stone bench tops, having a double sink in the ensuite and deciding on carpet, tiles or wood flooring. Then there are the little things you might not even consider, but can still have a big impact on the functionality of your home, such as which ways will your doors swing? Where do you want your ceiling lights? And how high would you like your shower head installed? These are the smaller details that we think of now, so you don’t have to realise they’re not quite right after you’ve moved in. At Coldon Homes, we’ll always take the time to guide you through the myriad of decisions you need to make and get you into a home you’ll love. This is not a guarantee it is just what we do every day.

17.01.2022 We’ve said it once and we’ll say it again - we don’t cut corners at Coldon Homes. When it comes to your kitchen appliances, we use Westinghouse products because it’s a brand we love and trust. However, if there’s another brand you’d prefer, you can provide us with the specs and we can source an alternative, but if you’re happy to take our advice, we can kit out your kitchen with appliances you’ll love.... 16.01.2022 Ask your builder T I P #15 :: MUDROOM A mudroom is a transition room between the outside and the inside of the house often to combat wet weather. But it can be a great addition to a home as an entry point for busy kids and families to dump their muddy sports shoes and school bags in an organised way without traipsing the mud and dust and dirt that goes along with the hustle and bustle of busy families through the house. ... Give each family member their own hook, cubby and space to organise their own belonging. Then shut the door on the mudroom and keep the dumping zone mess from the rest of the house. You can talk to our design team to see how we can create a space like this in your Coldon Design.
