18.01.2022 Here we have another Titan unit. This system replaces a 50 year old Belt Driven Kelvinator which has given up the ghost. We’ve installed the system on R134a which is best matched to our extreme temperatures ! System now runs a digital controller to best controll temperature and prevent short cycling of compressors, just to name a few advantages. Keeping the beers cold is the name of the game.

16.01.2022 187KW Screw Chiller install done and dusted. This was a massive job and our largest to date, we Decommissioned an old Reciprocating Semi Hermetic Rack, dismantled and removed from site. We then modified the pipework and moved over the Screw Chiller existing into a new location to make way for the brand new chiller to be installed. A new Carrier 187KW Screw was installed and commissioned. A new control system was installed along with a-couple of Variable speed drives for the cooling tower fan, Chilled and Condenser Water pumps. We installed a 2000L Chilled water buffer tank to allow the system to operate for a longer period of time without having to start the chiller to cool the water, this saving the customer some serious coin over a period of time. 15.01.2022 We haven't posted anything for a while ! but, this is a Package replacement we've done recently. The existing system was an old 2 Stage 65KW York DOL system, which we've replaced with a 71KW Actron Air Tri Capacity Package. The new system incorporates a direct drive DC Variable Speed Fan Motor and a 2 Stage Compressor for greater Energy Efficiency.

08.01.2022 Another belt driven system retired. Here we've given this cold room a new lease on life, the existing system was an old belt driven donk running on r409a which is a replacement Refrigerant for r12. We have removed both existing Evap coils and replaced with one high efficiency Evap coil. The condensing unit selected is matched to the long pipe run and the Refrigerant chosen matches our high ambient temps.
