19.01.2022 Following the updated information received from Netball Victoria, we are now pleased to announce we can start a season in 2020. Yay!! There’s a few details we ...still need to finalised but we are able to confirm that Saturday 25th July is the start date to return to competition. Returning to play is optional. If any players, families (or even clubs) don’t feel comfortable returning to play, that is perfectly fine and their decision to make. Please remember we cannot return to netball competitions unless these rules are followed. We’re asking all clubs and families to try to be accommodating and flexible and work within these rules so we can all get back to playing netball.

19.01.2022 **VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING 2020/2021 FUTURE OF CLUB** Hello Coldstream Netball Club families, We hope everyone is doing well in such unpresented times!... We are sending out this email with a couple of items to bring to your attention, please read all the information provided, don't hesitate to contact us with enquiries, please be mindful we try to reply the quickest we can, some topics need to be discussed between committee members before we can respond. 1. For those members who have sent an email requesting a refund of fees for 2020, we haven't forgotten. We are unable to process payments because we have to have 2 committee members in person, using the same device together, due to stage 4 restrictions, we don't fit under the criteria to meet and therefore we have to wait for restriction easing to process those payments to you. 2. We wanted to take this time and email, to inform you all that the current committee of Narelle, Laura and Danielle have decided to step away from their roles when our next AGM is held. All three individuals have been an integral part of running this club for a number of years, combined together these three individuals they have held the following roles while being apart of this club over a number of years: president, secretary, treasure, umpire convenor, coach convenor, social media manager, fundraiser officer, uniform officer, coach, umpire and player. All three members have thoroughly enjoyed their time being apart of this amazing family orientated club but with new changes with their families, careers and locations it is time for them to pass on this club to next set of families. This club was originally established in the mid 1980's and still continues to run today; running our own Net Set Go! Program, entering teams in and playing under the Yarra Valley Netball Association. We want this community to keep the tradition of young and mature players representing our amazing club in the future. We are holding our AGM on Tuesday 20th October at 7:00pm (most likely at this stage via video conferencing). Every position on the committee is available to be filled. It is important we get more parent, carers, players and family members on the committee as the club can't run without one. Please click on the link below which will take you to a Google form to fill out about committee positions. This Google form also provides information about each position on the committee, it has a section for you to ask any question or make any comments. The form is open for you to submit now and will close at our AGM on Tuesday 20th October. We will send further information regarding agenda items and video link (if can't do in person) at a later stage for our AGM next month. 17.01.2022 Just a couple of updates for everyone. For those people that have requested a refund of your fees they have been paid this morning so keep an eye on your account over the next few days. Please note the club can only refund our portion of player fees and if you would like your 2020 insurance refunded to you OR transfer it to cover 2021, you need to contact Netball Victoria to have that done. As a club we don't receive the insurance amount of each player nor do we have control... of it. Please contact [email protected] before 31st October 2020 so your request can be completed. If you don’t ask for your insurance back and complete the application before 31st October 2020 Netball Victoria will keep the insurance amount for 2020 and you will have to pay 2021 insurance as well if you or your child play. An email was sent from Netball Victoria in August outlining the above information and it contained the reimbursement application link. However we have identified a number of players including committee members that did not receive the email. Thank you, Narelle, Laura and Danie

10.01.2022 Netball Victoria continues to work through government announcements regarding the return to community sport guidelines released last week, as well as the update...d announcements made over the weekend. We expect to release our Return to Community Netball guidelines in the coming days. The return to competition is exciting and we want to ensure we provide you with the best information to make the return to play as smooth as possible. We thank you for your patience.

04.01.2022 Checklist: Weekend has started School holidays have started We have a date for round 1 of the netball season (25th of July)... **we have only been provided the date at this stage, we will be provided with more information regarding times, protocols and more, during school holidays when we have be given more information from the association** Enjoy your school holidays and we look forward to seeing all our players and families in 3 weeks for our first face to face training (16th July).

02.01.2022 The committee has decided to postpone the AGM that was due to be held on Tuesday 20th October to allow for further restrictions to hopefully be eased to allow us to better plan for 2021. A new date will be set in the upcoming weeks. All current members of the committee are stepping away at the end of the year and we are looking for new committee members so if you would like to join ensure you get in contact with us to discuss the roles and responsibilities of each position. T...he positions are not challenging they are certainly rewarding particularly seeing the growth of the club over the last couple of years. The current committee members will be able to support new committee members during a time of transition. The committee is aiming to refund fees to those that have requested it this week as the restrictions allow us to get together a little.
