25.01.2022 To all our customers, Through these challenging times, the aim of every Australian supermarket is to provide you and your family with the food and essentials you need. That’s why collectively, we want to reassure you that your wellbeing, and that of our teams, will always be our priority.... Our suppliers and teams are doing everything possible to get as many products onto all our shelves as they can, often under very difficult circumstances. So we ask you to please be considerate in the way you shop. We understand your concerns, but if you buy only what you need and stick to the product limits, it helps everyone, especially the elderly and people with disability. There are thousands of your fellow Australians who are working tirelessly across our stores every day. To them, we say thank you. We ask that you treat these dedicated people with the courtesy and respect they deserve. No-one working or shopping in any of our stores should experience abusive or aggressive behaviour. Thank you for your patience and support as we rise to the challenge of these extraordinary times together. 19.01.2022 As the situation around Coronavirus continues to develop, we believe that everyone in the community should have access to their share of grocery items. We have seen compassion from customers around these restrictions and we would ask that everyone continues to respect and support our team members. Our team members and suppliers continue to work as hard as possible to get more products into stores and onto shelves. Today Coles will be implementing a couple of further changes.... We will limit the purchase of pasta, flour, dry rice, paper towels, paper tissues and hand sanitisers to 2 items per customer. 18.01.2022 We’re committed to keeping you as safe as possible while shopping in our stores, so from Monday we're introducing a number of measures to help with this. Check out our new video below or visit our website for more information. https://www.coles.com.au/customernotice/speedyshopper

11.01.2022 As supermarkets providing an essential service, our priority is helping our most vulnerable communities access food and household staples at a time when it can be difficult for them to shop in our stores. We’re therefore working to serve as many vulnerable customers as possible. If you’re a vulnerable customer, you can access groceries in four ways: - Ask a friend, neighbour or family member to shop for you, or check if your local store has a Community Hour dedicated to the ...elderly and those with a disability, and use that time to shop for your needs - Register with the National Disability Insurance Scheme or with My Aged Care for access to their services - If you’ve ordered using our online services dedicated to vulnerable customers, you can ask a friend, neighbour or family member to pick up your shopping via in-store collection (Coles and Woolworths only) - Finally if the above isn’t possible, use the online services dedicated to vulnerable customers to have your order delivered to you at home We also encourage everyone to think about those in genuine need in their community. Whether it’s your building, street or suburb, we ask that you offer help wherever possible. Please check our websites for information on Community Hour and our online services. If you’d like more information on the NDIS list, including questions on eligibility, please visit ndis.gov.au or call 1800 800 110. For more information on My Aged Care visit myagedcare.gov.au

09.01.2022 To all our customers, The recent spread of cases in Victoria is an unfortunate reminder that we all continue to live with COVID-19. For all Australian supermarkets, the safety and wellbeing of our customers, teams and communities remains our top priority, just as it always has been. ... Each of our stores has a number of measures in place for everyone’s ongoing safety, including social distancing and enhanced cleaning and hygiene practices. We ask that you continue to tightly adhere to social distancing guidelines, wash or sanitise your hands before you come into store, use contactless payment wherever you can, remember to avoid touching your face (with or without a mask) and cough and sneeze into a tissue or your elbow. The Victorian Government has updated its advice on the use of masks to the following: The Chief Health Officer recommends that adults living in the Melbourne metropolitan area or Mitchell Shire wear a face mask when outside your home if it is difficult to keep 1.5 metres apart from other people. The advice also remains that physical distancing and regular hand washing remain the best defence against COVID-19. As masks are optional, it’s not compulsory to wear one in our stores in these areas. However, if you are in any doubt, or would simply feel more comfortable, please do wear a mask when you come into store. This is the same guidance we have given to our teams, and we have provided them with masks to wear as an option. While we welcome you wearing a mask if you choose, please don’t be judgemental of others who choose not to, whether team members or other customers. It is an individual decision and we ask that you respect the choice of others. It’s also a reminder that thousands of our fellow Australians are working tirelessly in our stores every day to help you. Please continue to treat our teams with the respect and courtesy they all deserve. Finally, it’s important that you don’t come into a store if you feel unwell, should be in mandatory isolation or have been in contact with a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19. All our Victorian team members have also been asked to not come to work if they feel unwell. Thank you for your ongoing patience and support as together we do all we can to keep our communities safe. For more information visit the Victoria Department of Health and Human Services Coronavirus (COVID-19) page at https://www.dhhs.vic.gov.au/coronavirus

09.01.2022 As our team members and suppliers continue to work hard to get the things you need onto shelves, it is also important that we can give extra support to those most vulnerable during this challenging time. Therefore, every week we’ll be donating additional food and household goods to the retail value of $1M to our charity partners SecondBite and Foodbank Australia. These charities are focused on helping our most vulnerable communities, and this extra support will help boost our ongoing food donation program. To find out more information please visit our website https://www.coles.com.au/customernotice
