15.01.2022 Went for a cruise up to Benalla and went for a look at the Winton Wetlands. No wet in the lands but spotted 3 old timers out for a weekend rally on their hundred year old Lanz Bulldog semi-diesel tractors. 40kph flat nut with all of their kit packed in the trailer and doing it fine. 1/10th of a second and f22 to try and get some speed blur going. Interesting jiggers - LPG bottle on the back to light a fire under the front to warm up the engine before they crank it over (and for the BBQ in the trailer). One big single-cylinder @ 10.3 litres, two-stroke, hot-bulb Akroyd engine, no valves, no carby with a thermosiphon cooling system.
