24.01.2022 Today's Remembrance Day Service, although different, was as always incredibly moving. A special mention to our talented Year 6 musician, Griffin, who played a note perfect rendition of the Last Post and Summer's beautiful voice shone in the performance of 'For the Fallen'.

20.01.2022 Today our SRC organised a fundraiser for 2 rural schools, Walcha Central School and Coonamble PS, who have been affected by the worst drought in Australia. These 2 schools have been without water for 18months. Your donation will go towards scholarships for students for these students. We are opening up a Flexi schools account for donations if you would like to donate further. We truly thank everyone for your generous support.



19.01.2022 What a fantastic initiative from our SRC! Our students see the positive in all and are looking on the bright side of life.

19.01.2022 Next Tuesday 26 November at 6pm in our school hall our Drama Club and Mrs Morriss choir are presenting The Jungle Book. They have been busily rehearsing for this performance all year. Entry is free yet we will have a collection on the night with all funds raised going to support the animals affected by the recent bush fires. The evening should conclude by 6.45pm. We look forward to seeing you there.

10.01.2022 Today Kindergarten celebrated all things Fairytales, after exploring their narrative unit in English this term they spent the day in character rotating around various fairytale activities. Can you guess which fairytale they are from?

10.01.2022 It was an amazing privilege to be able to welcome back our 2018 school captains who were here today to visit our Year 6 students. Summer, Lily, Baxter and Jackson discussed all things high school related and answered some tricky questions from an excited and eager bunch of students.

10.01.2022 Congratulations Le'a Tamale! In Week 9, Le'a travelled to St Marys as part of the Sydney North Girls Rugby Union 7's Team to participate in the inaugural NSW PSSA Girls Rugby Union 7's Tournament. Sydney North finished undefeated throughout the 2-day event, beating Sydney West 15-0 in a rainy finals to become state champions for 2019. In Week 10, she backed it up by competing as part of the Sydney North Girls Softball Team at the NSW PSSA Girls Softball Championships. Agai...n, the Sydney North team cruised through the tournament undefeated and claimed the state title by winning 20-0 in the finals. As a result of her outstanding performance, Le'a was selected in the NSW PSSA Girls Softball Team to compete at the National PSSA Softball Championships early next month. Well done on these incredible sporting achievements Le'a!

08.01.2022 Our Stage 2 students and their families have generously raised $1760 to buy 2020 exercise books for the students at Coolah Central School who are experiencing severe drought. During this process each child connected with a buddy from the school and have now formed country buddy pen pals. This school is close to Mrs Byrnes farm and she had the privilege of presenting our donation to the students this week. They were overwhelmed by the generosity show to them by our amazing community. Thank you to all of our beautiful families who have been supporting these special initiatives. What an amazing community to be a part of.

07.01.2022 Today is Gratitude Day. At CPPS our students and teachers have focused on all that we are grateful for! We are sharing these with our community in a display on our front fence. Thank you to our SRC for a very special day.

06.01.2022 Year 3 have been learning about Mythical Creatures this term and have created their own mythical creature and depicted it by creating a wire sculpture and then paper mache over it to create their amazing final product. Each student then wrote an information report about their creature including its special super powers. What an amazing and creative team! Well done Year 3!

06.01.2022 This week the Northern Beaches Council Mayor, Michael Regan, visited a group of Year 6 boys who have a bright future in journalism.

06.01.2022 Congratulations to Ethan Grimshaw, who at the end of Term 3 represented CPPS at the National PSSA Athletics Championship in Darwin. Ethan finished 5th in the 11yrs Boys 100m event with a time of 12.8 seconds and 2nd place in the 11yrs Boys 100m Relay Team. Well done on this outstanding achievement!
