23.01.2022 Tonight I cleaned, priced and found space for 40 Avon cars. 1 box done 15 to go. One box a night means it will take me over 2 weeks to get them all out. I will think of something.

22.01.2022 Well Fathers day is coming up so I had better get with the plan and let people know what great stuff I have for your Dad. Here at Collectables and Memories your will find things for your Dad that you will not find any were else. I will post more items up during the next couple of days. When you are here in mount Morgan you can also have a coffee and cake at newsXpress, find some outdoors gear at Eric's Outdoors Shop, pick up some great arty pieces at the No 7 Gallery. After you have done all that you may be hungry and thirsty, so you can grab some food at the Leichhardt Hotel or one of the other eatery's in town. Save me and the little community of Mount Morgan from the nasty recession, come up for a visit, you will not regret it.

21.01.2022 The stock I bought last week came with a couple of display cabinets, they are now in place, ready to get filled up. Nothing is easy in a building built in the late 1800s, always need a chock handy. I sold my lounge and I am fitting out the room behind the counter. No more afternoon naps for me when there are no customers in!!!!

19.01.2022 This the fourth Mount Morgan ride I have organised for the Gentlefolk Single-speed, Fixie and Old Bike Society. Ride your oldest bike, leave the lycra at home, join us at a fine old pub for dinner after. Great why to spend a Saturday afternoon, the kids are welcome. Shop will be closed at 2:30 on Saturday. 18.01.2022 The train the train

18.01.2022 On my days off I picked up 7 car loads of stock!!!!!!! All I have to do is fit it in some how, I made a good start. Almost 4 boxes of Avon out , I am selling it for $5 a piece, except for the ones I have marked and of course I will be open to offers. Ask me if you would like to look though the boxes 10 or so boxes that I have not unpacked. Pizza day at the Liechhardt Hotel today so I will grab one, pump the stereo up aand keep at it. Selling the branding irons for $ 20 each, they are mostly blacksmith made. Will be good for Fathers day gifts.

18.01.2022 Another post to showcase ideas for Fathers Day. I have managed to display more stock, other the slot cars to go. Once some stock sells , I can start unpacking another 20 boxes, but over half of them are Avon items,

13.01.2022 I have gone out and bought 3 more car loads of stock, a couple to pick up in the next day or 2. I have boxes of Avon, cross cut saws, branding irons, more tools, vintage bricks, old glass floats, bottles. Lots of work ahead to clean, sort, price and find roof to put everything. I will post photos as I go along.

09.01.2022 I have not been posting anything for a couple of months, but lots of new stock in. Here are so photos, open Friday and Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 2 on.

06.01.2022 I helped out a professional person to reattach the hand rail on my balcony. I started this about 2 years ago, good to see it almost finished. Any one want to give me odds on when I get around to painting it!!! Its very good, flat spot to place your food and drink, I will look out for a couple of stools to use.

05.01.2022 I did not get much product on the selves today, but I did clean and sort things. I get some things done tonight. Here are some more photos of ideas for Fathers Day.

02.01.2022 It's a public holiday on Friday, we will be open from 10am as will as Saturday and Sunday. You cannot get here on a train anymore but grab some mates and jump in your car. As well as Collectables and Memories there is the No 7 Gallery, the Outdoors Shop, have a kebab at the Liechhardt Hotel for lunch. The kebabs are very yummy, I had one for lunch today. Collectables and Memories is full of new different stock, you will not be disappointed!!!!
