23.01.2022 While in the Mid West last week Julie and Lizzy called in to see Graham at Irwin District Museum and Russ Historic Cottage. We are not sure what we loved more - the lamington cake from the Dongara bakery or Bob who volunteers at the museum! Not to mention the well they have out the back which was dug by convicts in 1870 and still provides clean fresh water. Check out the story of the well in this Collections WA story by Trish parker from Irwin Districts Historical Society htt...ps://collectionswa.net.au/node/21533 If you are in the Mid West make sure you call in to see their fabulous collection for yourself! 15.01.2022 Happy NAIDOC Week! Our team is grateful to work on Whadjuk Country, the ancestral lands of the Noongar people. We love the 2020 NAIDOC Week poster designed by Noongar and Saibai Islander man Tyrown Waigana, which tells the story of the Rainbow Serpent who came from the Dreamtime to create these lands.
