10.01.2022 Accounting software these days can be pretty damn efficient! As much potential that your software has, it’s normally only as good as the person driving it. Even the best software needs its driver to have some skill and understanding to ensure it creates the most accurate and efficient outcome! Collective Plan Management and Financial Services is a Xero Certified Advisor but we also have many clients using MYOB. Our certified and experienced staff are happy to work with bot...h MYOB and Xero files. 10.01.2022 Australia has over 3.5million small businesses. Small businesses contribute to a third of our economic activity, keep millions of Australians in jobs and are responsible for paying wages to almost half our workforce. They are vital to our everyday lives especially now we are trying to find the way to economic recovery. Go Local First is a nationwide campaign being delivered by the Council of Small Business Organisations Australia (COSBOA). Go Local First aims to encourage A...ustralians to choose local small businesses when they are purchasing products and services to help get the sector back on its feet, keep Australians in jobs, and money in local communities. Aussie small businesses have taken a huge hit during the pandemic. Go Local First is about encouraging all Australians to back local businesses by choosing to spend with small businesses, both in store and online. When small business thrives, communities thrive, and Australia thrives. The Go Local First campaign uses social media and online presence to advertise and drive business to local premises. This Government supported branding concept, complete with a downloadable toolkit has been created for small business to benefit from existing branding and advertising such as posters, website links, Facebook, and local directories. You can like, share, or personalise the content to suit your business. Get in on the trend of @golocalfirst (Instagram) and @localfirstAU (Facebook).

08.01.2022 When you ask your client for an independent experience statement and this is what you wake up to on a Monday morning: "This letter is to confirm that Chantelle Harrison has worked as our Company Bookkeeper for over two years. In this time, she has covered most aspects of our business from invoicing, purchases, reconciliations, payroll and reporting. I find Collective Plan Management & Financial Services diligent, ethical and efficient. This past year especially, I fear we wou...ld not have survived if it was not for Chantelle's forward thinking, organisation and self-implemented policies and procedures. I would have no hesitation recommending Chantelle and Collective Plan Management & Financial Services to any other organisation."

03.01.2022 JOBKEEPER 2.0 Legislation has now passed for Jobkeeper 2.0, after minor technical changes were approved on Tuesday 1 September! We are awaiting the detailed rules to be issued by the Treasurer and ATO that supports this new legislation. We can not provide any comment or advice until this document is released.... Don't believe everything you see or hear in the media. My advice is to wait for confirmation from your trusted BAS Agent or Accountant, and have further discussions with them on how Jobkeeper 2.0 applies to your business. Update to come! #BASAgent #Bookkeeper #NorthernNSW #CollectivePlanManagementandFinancialServices #Jobkeeper2.0
