25.01.2022 Hey gang! It has been a while since we have had the pleasure of each other's company. Hope everyone is traveling well through these interesting times. We have had a good rest and are missing you all oh so much. So, we thought we would do the next best thing apart from being with you all, a Diffraction Collective live stream to keep it movin' until we can meet again for a boogie. ... So with that, we are happy to announce we will be setting up a little live stream LOCKDOWN in true Diffraction style, this Friday at 8:00pm AEST. The crew are working away building some fresh new sound and visual mixes for you all to get down to. Evan Morice on the mix - TETRALUME on the visuals and of course, some slick visual art by the ALL HOURS gang! 25.01.2022 This one is from our Fringe Festival event last year - Sonic Alliance. It was great to be able to work in a new space and have an outdoor party in the middle of the Townsville CBD! It consisted of 3 nights of events - basically 3 Diffraction parties all rolled into one! Different stages and collaborations between musicians, artists and performers, good fun bringing together the creative community and hitting some huge tunes in the middle of town! Here we have Twirler busting ...a few eye bending moves out in the Courtyard! Also loved Marc Roth's handywork on the building behind the stage! Jon Electros Avocado

As you could probably guess we are at a very limited capacity so it will be a case of first in, best dressed fam. Tickets on sale from 9:00am tomorrow. 22.01.2022 Hey gang! Long time, no chat. Hope everyone has been well. So we have been focusing our energy on Diffraction Studio for last bit, getting everything rolling in the city. We will be serving coffees and we have local gituar slinging badass Leni Peirano busking out the front from 10:00 am!... Come say hi!

20.01.2022 Here we go gang! Last event of 2020! Bit of a mix to it all, pretty stoked for this one! A little be of something for everyone and, in theory - we survived 2020........... and had a few mad parties with our loved ones at the same time TIckets on sale tomorrow from 10:00am. We still haven't come out the end of 'it' all so limited tickets and guess what..... 100% booty shaking freedom!!! Let's do this! <3

15.01.2022 Heya crew, Well we are all still riding high from our last event, PINK NOISE! Honestly, the feedback has been astonishing, and on the Collective’s side of things we all agree the Pink Noise Cairns crew brought the party like true masters of the game! What a night and honestly what a weekend. Mad hangs Friday night, getting the masterplan in place. A brilliant workshop with a group of interested and involved ladies! So much inspiration flowing from that workshop session, we a...re all very excited to see what the future holds In fact, there are already plans to set up a little studio with the crew involved to keep workshopping ideas, teaching each other, and learning together <3 Finally, the event on Saturday was, as we have all been discussing, up there as the best gig we have hosted in the 3 years of running Diffraction Collective parties. Such a great flow of energy, killer tunes, visual art everywhere you looked and such a connected audience! Absolutely stoked to say the least! With that, we would like to extend a massive thank you to Pink Noise Cairns, all the visual artists and performers involved and, of course, our wonderful punters. What a night! I would just like to thank each and everyone of you who come down to Diffraction Studio on Friday night for LIMINAL It was such an amazing night full of art, colour, dope beats and, of course a community beautiful people! Massive THANK YOU to all the artists who created stunning sound and visuals for us all to enjoy!... Special thanks to Slytrance for making the trip to town and closing the night out with a stella set!
