20.01.2022 THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN BINGEING AND HAVING A TREAT What’s the difference between ‘bingeing’ and having a treat every now and again? ‘Bingeing’ is having a F%#$K it attitude after eating one treat because it feel’s as though you’ve thrown your ‘good tracking day’ out the window For example, after eating one TimTam, you go on and eat the rest of the packet, along with a tub of ice cream and a block of chocolate. This is bingeing. ... Having a treat, is enjoying an item of food that you wouldn’t normally eat daily; a food that feels good for your soul! Then you continue to consume nutritious meals post treat. For example, eating one TimTam, or even two TimTams then having a dinner filled with lots of protein, ‘good’ fats and carbs (steak, greens cooked in olive oil and sweet potato) If you suffer from bingeing, your not alone! Many people do and many aren’t aware of the impact it’s having on them both physically and mentally. If you do suffer from bingeing, I would recommend seeking help not only from a coach like me, but you may possibly need help from a professional who specialises in this condition

I know the festive season gets a bit crazy, but I couldn’t think of a more important time to show up to your sessions and get it done! ... Stay consistent and you will see results. There’s no magic pill or shake that will get you there, just hard work and dedication I’m your accountability, so stick with me babes
13.01.2022 Happy New Year to the CFY fam! In a year that was 2020, you have all supported my small buisness in one way or another. Whether it be training with me in person, online, purchasing an e-book or merchandise, joining in on a live web event, or just listening / reading my posts (mostly rants ) on my socials I’m so very grateful. In a year of much uncertainty, you have all reminded me why I do what I do. I became a PT because I loved exercise and the way it makes you feel... I wanted others to experience the high you get from moving your body and the sense of achievement you feel when you smash your goals! This year hasn’t all been rainbows and butterflies. I’ve watched some clients struggle and some succeed, but every single one grew and became stronger. Together, we made it through On a personal note, I’ve worked harder than I ever have before in 2020, but it’s all worth it to see how much my business has grown and thriving! 13.01.2022 Never did I ever think I would become a Yoga Teacher... I use to suffer from crippling stress. This stress caused some serve digestive issues and bloating, which took a toll on my physical and mental health. The first time I experienced a Yoga practice, I did an online Yin Yoga class and it was life changing!... The stress I felt started to melt away, the bloating went down and It felt like a heavy weight had just been lifted off my shoulders! From this moment on, I knew Yin Yoga would be part of my life forever and right then, my wellness journey began. 13.01.2022 Macros helped me find a healthy relationship with food In July 2017 I felt the most uncomfortable I had ever felt in my body. I was sick, suffering from multiple food intolerances and my body was inflamed from the food that I was eating and from the ‘stress’ I was under at work. I made the decision to quit my job and find a coach to help me get my confidence back.... I believe every great coach also needs their own coach to ensure they are showing up as the best version of themselves for their own clients. My coach introduced me to macro flexible dieting. She calculated my calories and the amount of carbohydrates, fats and protein I was to aim to hit daily. After about 6 weeks of playing around with my macros, desperately trying to eat enough (as I was under-eating) I finally hit my macro goals! Once I started fuelling my body correctly, my body starting to change and I started getting my confidence back! After just over a year of tracking macros Aug 2017- Aug 2018) I reached a body I was proud of and finally felt comfortable in my skin again. Macro tracking taught me what types of food my body thrives off. Macro tracking taught me not to be afraid of carbs and that carbs are my main fuel source. Macro tracking proved to me that I can eat the foods I love and still reach my body goals. Macro tracking taught me that eating more won’t make put on body fat, but actually helps me burn body fat instead! Most importantly, macro tracking helped me find a balanced diet and learn to love food and my body again. 13.01.2022 Have you heard the good news? PT’s can now take up to 10 clients outdoors as of Wednesday at 11.59pm What does this mean for us?... I have been in contact with my 6am clients to see if they want to jump back into 6am sessions with me 3 x per week These are only temporary bootcamps I’ll be running an outdoor Yin Yoga practice on Wednesday’s at 6pm (yin yogi’s in the current term will be contacted regarding this one) This session will be live in the S&S group for all the members to practice along with me and do the replay at a later date. But that’s not it! It also means all members of the Strength & Stillness Online Platform get access to an exclusive 5.30pm outdoor bootcamp on Thursdays This platform is so affordable that 4 x bootcamps per week will only cost you $3.70 each session... that’s crazy I’m taking names now for all the sessions mentioned in this post. 10.01.2022 BOTH OUTDOOR + FACETIME SESSIONS NOW AVAILABLE This week has been a bit on the crazy side (for more reasons than one!) The FaceTime sessions have been amazing! For many people, they suit their schedule and home life perfectly. Many are working from home and will train prior, after or during their lunch break ... However, FaceTime training isn’t any option for everyone: those with small children, no access to equipment/space to train or those who really need face-to-face connection So now that the weather is looking amazing I have started to offer IN PERSON SESSIONS - up to 2 people. This allows my current clients to have the option to either train in my outdoor gym or continue training via FaceTime. Many have took up the offer and it’s been amazing being able to see my clients in person again (also giving me some sanity back too ) I have very limited spots available. I posted Sharon’s story a little while back, but I just wanted to chat about how she got these results while she has been training with me ... It’s no secret that lifting weights and training in general changes your body drastically, as well as improves your mental health and increases your self-worth On top of Sharon’s PT sessions, yin and vinyasa yoga practices AND Strength & Stillness Group workouts, she tracks macros with me Initially, I calculated macros for Sharon that suited her body and goals. Then every Monday since she has sent me her check in, which includes a diary of ratings (eg. motivation levels 1-10) and excel diary of one day of eating in the week gone and photos This check in gives me physical evidence of how Sharon is going outside of her training with me and helps me ensure she is on track to her goals.
