Apply one coat of artist quality refined linseed oil to entire surface of the artwork bringing moisture to the paint structure and returning a fresh sheen to the surface of the artwork 4. Conservation of damaged/soiled areas of the artwork with artist quality oil paint where required 5. Repaint edges of the stretched canvas with 3 coats of artist quality oil paint (white) 6.
