25.01.2022 Lots to do today. Tidy the van and pack more yarn and tops. Some garments and twisted cowls have been replaced so labelling and putting in the van. Social distancing and masks tomorrow. 22.01.2022 Just popping in to say that it will get quieter here over the summer months. But I will still be busy behind the scenes. Yarns will get added to the website as they are completed. Machine knitting projects are being planned. I will be adding a few more jumpers to my stock, with random sizes and colours. I have sold a few since reopening of the markets here in Victoria so hope to start with a few in March. And I have completed a few orders as well with one being sewn up today ...ready for the market at Castlemaine next sunday 6th December. An a custom yarn dye order is on the list to be completed next week. A little more weaving to work on as well. So much work to do and what fun that will be. And a spinning job for a customer is planned for late December and January. December markets are... Castlemaine Artists Market..December 6th, 3pm to 8pm. 18.01.2022 Pre covid i would have been at the Violet Town Market tomorrow. Unfortunately it is still cancelled. If you are after any wool yarns or winter woollies or landscapes dyes have a look at the website to see what you can find. Or organise an appointment to visit. I will open the van and set it up as a market stall. All precautions will be adhered to.

17.01.2022 Goal for this month is to work steadily on a fine merino fleece and to knit a jumper on the machine for a friend and customer. Have resorted to hand flicking the raw fleece as washing proved unsuccessful with ends felting and fibres shortening. Going through the carder produced far too many neps. This fleece is about 16 micron. 94gms spun on one bobbin and another started. Far simpler production. I will get this done.

16.01.2022 Good news!! I will be able to go back to one market at this stage. Find me at Nagambie Farmers Market at Tahbilk winery Sunday, September 27th. Regional Victoria is opening up more. Sadly Melburnians aren't allowed out yet. But they will be welcomed with open arms when it happens. (They are doing it tough, and hopefully will be worth it in the long run.)

12.01.2022 We go back to Stage 3 restrictions here in regional Victoria. So i doubt any markets anytime soon. Castlemaine has been cancelled for September and doesn't look like getting back before December. Without any notification yet i sm expecting that Nagambie farmers market at Tahbilk winery will only be for food. Stay safe and we through these nect 6 weeks. Online sales are still open, and sales will continue to be upgraded to express post.

10.01.2022 Exciting. You never know when sales are going to happen. Sales heading off to Tassie next week as well as to Canberra. Especially after car and van battery changeover today. The car wouldn't start after using yesterday. Jump starting worked only to move it. After keeping the market Yarn Van charged up over the 3 months since my last market it wouldn't start so e batteries for heaps of dollars now ready to go to Nagambie farmers market at Tahbilk winery on sunday.

08.01.2022 Today i would normally be at Nagambie farmers market at Tahbilk winery, but because of the reintroduction of stage 3 restrictions artisans are not able to attend. But not to worry i am watching a seminar on machine knitting so am educating. In the meantime i will have to go and pull out yarns from the van for a customer in Sydney. She is my favourite buyer.
