23.01.2022 The Shire of Collie entered its Prohibited Burning period today, Tuesday 15 December. ALL FIRES, including camp and cooking fires, bon fires and fires in bucket...s or drums are now prohibited. The lighting of any fires during this time could attract penalties of up to $250,000 or 14 years imprisonment. If you see any fire burning call 000 to report immediately. Take the time to talk to your family about your Fire plan and what you would do if you were impacted by a Bush Fire. Refer to the DFES website - www.dfes.wa.gov.au for further information and guides.
