20.01.2022 Due to the current circumstances and the governmental restrictions in relation to the Covid-19 Pandemic, the Collie Badminton Association committee has made the decision to formally cancel 2020 Collie Country Teams Carnival that would have been held in July. While we are saddened by this decision, the health and well-being of our club members and community as a whole is paramount, and we must all follow the guidelines in place to help flatten the curve. We wish our badminton family, both local and across the region, all the best and we hope to see your beautiful faces again soon.

05.01.2022 Several Collie players made the trip down to Albany for their tournament last weekend. The Albany tournament gives you the opportunity to play with and against new players every year, as you submit your name and the amazing club volunteers create the teams - and it is always a lot of fun! Great games were had by all, and congratulations to Sara who somehow managed to find herself on the winning team.

05.01.2022 WOOHOO! WE'RE COMING BACK! We are excited to say that the badminton hall will re-open on Monday 15 June to all clubs. The committee has met and discussed a Covid-Safety Plan to allow play to resume in the safest way possible. The plan will be finalised this week and signage will be posted at the hall advising of the procedures all clubs will be required to follow. ... Please be advised that all players will need fill out an attendance sheet for every session they attend. Current physical distancing and hygiene rules are still in place, so players must wash and/or sanitise their hands upon entry and regularly between games. Increased cleaning procedures will also be in place, please make sure to familiarise yourselves with these via the posters and checklist provided at the hall. Have fun, and stay Covid-Safe!
