23.01.2022 So a return to Classic Ride Days yesterday morning at Lakeside Park was attended by the usual suspects. 23.01.2022 .....and we're back. Finally a chance to get bums on bikes on tracks. Good turnout at Queensland Raceway last Sunday under overcast skies that helped keep the temperature down. 23.01.2022 I'll just leave this here. Standing room only at Lakeside today and a record number of pre-paid photo orders - thank you - consequently it may take up to three days to process them all. Those of you who didn't pre-order may place an order via my website - just be aware I will not start on those until all the pre-paid orders have been processed. Thanks again - awesome day.

21.01.2022 So what a day it was at Lakeside today - bikes everywhere. I just want to warn people that there were a lot of orders for photo packages today. I will be working flat out to get them all done as soon as I can but it may take 2 or 3 days. Please be patient. Pre-ordered packages will be done first, then riders who approached me on the day then any orders placed via my website after the event. I thank you for your interest in what I do.

18.01.2022 A split system of 2 x 2hr sessions in the morning followed by a 4 hour session with 2 alternating groups in the afternoon seemed to work pretty well for Friday and Saturday last week. 10.01.2022 So we come to the end of a weird (Covid-19) and wonderful (Trump voted out) year I'd like to pass on my thanks to all riders who have supported my endeavours over the year. It is truly appreciated. Big thanks to Josh and his team at Queensland Raceways for their continued assistance whilst letting me do my thing at their venues. The girls in the office for helping with paperwork and Jason and his team of flaggies and marshals for watching my back while I was on-track. Will Course for stepping in for me when I couldn't take to the track. May you all have a safe and happy Christmas and hope Santa brings you many go-faster or look-cooler bits for your bikes. See you next year

10.01.2022 So what a humungous day at Lakeside Park today. Record number of bikes. Record number of photo orders means it will take me up to three days to edit, upload and notify. Please be patient. I will be starting with the ladies (nice to see so many on track today) and working my way through the rest as fast as I can.

08.01.2022 Matt has just come in from track inspection at Lakeside this morning - verdict is definitely no slicks and "wets" would probably struggle too. Sorry folks - its officially cancelled. Hopefully all this dampness will be gone by next Saturday for the last QR Ride Day of the year.

07.01.2022 The mercury is set to soar tomorrow (Sunday 6th) with a forecast 42 degree scorcher at Queensland Raceway. A recent skin cancer scare and the fact that this old photog's bones tend to sag a bit in those conditions will prevent me from shooting on the day. Fortunately a good mate has volunteered take on the job on my behalf. Thank you to Will Course for parking the bike and pulling out the cameras. Anyone who has tracked at Morgan Park will be familiar with Will's work. Everything else will operate the same regarding prepaid orders and orders after the event will still be made through my website. I'll be at the track as a spectator. Please support Will's efforts if you can - you won't be disappointed.

05.01.2022 So I've just completed the prepaid photo packages = now for the rest of you. Thanks for your patience - it will be another day or two until I have done them all - in the meantime I thought I'd leave this here for you to contemplate while you wait. Please note - any suggestion that this is a couple of Kiwis out on a date will be regarded as most inapproprate and offensive to our brothers and sisters over the ditch.

I'm working 12+ hour days and have enlisted some help to get through the orders as quickly as possible. In addition I will need to leave my computer to head back to Lakeside on Thursday. I plan to stimulate the economy in Queensland by investing in the goods sold in the bars of any country pubs I happen to pass. It's a big job but someone has to do it.
