24.01.2022 Collie Labour day mtb race, lead group 1st 8km lap in 16 minutes. Thats a fast course.

21.01.2022 That's it, we've made it through most of our photos from The Nomad Company... but we've still got a few more up our sleeves from festival goers and we might be able to dig up a few more shots beyond that as well.

20.01.2022 What a fantastic weekend. It was great to see the town buzzing. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the Collie Labour Day Festival. To Mick Murray, Kristy and Stuart for all their assistance in the lead up to and during the festival.... Mick works tirelessly for Collie and the community and it was his vision that set the wheels in motion for the Collie Labour Day Festival. To our volunteers groups you all did a magnificent job: Kristy Milne and her team from the PCYC. Ed Croft and his students and parents from the Anzac tour group. Geoff Blackford and his team from the Collie Rotary Club. Jenelle Stone and her team from the Collie Scouts. Peter Harms and his band of helpers from the Collie Mountain Bike Club. Sarah Stanley for all her help with our web and facebook pages. Photographer Steven Powell from The Nomad Company for all his great snaps. Kyle and Jordan Marley from Collie Castle and Party Hire who were in constant touch all day Sunday because of the wind making sure the kids stayed safe and weren’t blown away. To all our market stall holders and food vendors . Forrest Street came alive because of you guys. Kevin Boult and the Harley Owners Group (HOGS) who were magnificent all weekend. The thunder of motor bikes around the town was awesome. Hamish Pipe and the guys and girls from the Collie Veteran Car Club. Grunter and the log choppers. It was great to see the chips flying in Collie again. Julie Hillier and the SW Slammers for their 3 on 3 basketball display and for involving the locals. To our local artists: Maddison Shepherd Kate Hindle 6220 and Salty and the Harp Attack for showcasing their talents on the music shell stage and Ben Menaglio our sound technician who made sure the sound was perfect all day. To our fellow Collie Cycle Club members - Alf, Steve, Peter, Ross who always had our backs when needed. And last but not least to Vivienne and Suellen for all their help and support over the last 3-4 months. Cheers Jamie & Mark

17.01.2022 More and more photos, they are coming out of our ears. We'll continue putting up galleries for a few more days yet. Make sure you flick through to see if there's any familiar faces amongst them. The Nomad Company

06.01.2022 We promised photos, so here are some photos. Plenty more to come in the following days courtesy of The Nomad Company. Remember to share your photos with us if you took some great snaps at the festival. That way we keep showing everyone just how great of a weekend it was.

06.01.2022 The dust has settled on what I think everyone can agree was a successful inaugural festival and we're already looking at what we can do to build on the success next year. We've also now got our hands on bunch of snaps taken by Steve Powell from The Nomad Company. There are so many of them that rather than throwing them all up at once we'll make our way through them over the coming days. And if you've got photos from the weekend you wouldn't mind us sharing feel free to send them our way - the more the merrier.

05.01.2022 Make your way to the Collie Recreation ground on Saturday 27th February 2021 for the 1st "Spark Plugs on the Hill" - all you need is a spark. Hosted by the Veteran Car Club of WA (INC) Collie branch as part of the Collie Labour Day Festival. This will be a great outing for all motoring enthusiasts with a passion for cars and bikes.

01.01.2022 With so much to see and do there was something for everyone during the festival. Do you have ideas about how it can be even bigger in 2021? The Nomad Company
