23.01.2022 As FALL SHORT, Bs INTO PRELIM! Our B Grade side has progressed to the Preliminary Final after winning in a low scoring nailbiter, while the As couldn't hold on for a win. After posting a competitive 183 batting first in As, the bowlers weren't able to take consistent wickets, going down by 3 wickets. Nathan Degraaf (40) and Adam Ditchburn (33) were solid with the bat, while Matt Heberle (3/41 off 8) and Steve Van Nierop (2/23 off 10) were the best with the ball.... In the Bs, it was a nailbiter in a low scoring affair. After bowling Royals out for 98, the score was passed 5 down in the 43rd over. Ross Barnett 37n.o and Josh Duffield 24n.o were pivotal with the bat, while Michael Martain (3/19 off 8.1) and Ben Carter (2/19 off 9) led the way with the ball. 23.01.2022 FAREWELL TO A CLUB LEGEND The weekends games marked the end of an era for a club legend. Aaron Pugh, after more than 300 games for the club across all grades and formats, has decided to put the kit away one last time. Over his time at the club, Aaron has not only contributed on-field, but has put in countless hours of service to the club off-field as well. A much loved and much respected player at the club, his slashing cut shot over slips is renowned across the competition.... His achievements and contributions include: -300+ Games played -Premiership Captain -3x Premiership Player -B Grade 30 Year Team Member -Life Member -Former Club Treasurer (2009-2014) -Former Club Secretary (2003-2010) -Current Board member -Wayne Witham Trophy Winner -2x Best Club Person Award Winner From all of us at Collingwood Park CC, we would like to thank Aaron for his outstanding commitment to the club over many years and wish him all the best. A true legend of the club. You will be missed Pughy!

23.01.2022 2020/21 CPCC COMMITTEE After a successful AGM held at NAFC last night, the club has finalised it's Committee for the 2020/21 season. 13.01.2022 How's this Throwback for your Thursday? Pictured below is the B Grade Premiership winning side of the 2010/11 season. It capped off a dominant season for the side, who won 12 of 13 games throughout the season. Batting first, the boys made a small but competitive 105, lead by Darren Grey (24*). In the chase Railways were cruising at 6/92 before being bowled out for 103 to hand us the premiership. Darren Valli and Paul Barnett each took 3 wickets.

12.01.2022 Cs WIN AGAIN! Our C Grade boys had yet another win at the weekend, downing Narrikup by 105 runs. A fantastic unbeaten hundred from stand-in skipper Darren Grey set the tone, before youngsters Oliver Douglas and Vince Bascombe took 7 wickets between them. And in the Bs a tough trip to Mt Barker saw them go down by 99 runs. A great all round performance from Myles Jackson (3 wickets and 51 runs) unfortunately couldn't help the cause.... Up the Park!

08.01.2022 B GRADE OUT WITHOUT A BALL BOWLED Unfortunately our B Grade side have been knocked out of finals, after the pitch in Narrikup was deemed to be "unsafe for play". It's a disappointing end to a great season for the B Grade boys. ... Be sure they will come back stronger and hungrier next season. Up the Park!

Our junior side finished in 3rd place, missing the grand final by only 2 points. Award winners are as follows:... 05.01.2022 NEW TRAINING FACILITIES After months of planning and fundraising, the club has finally been able to construct 3 brand new nets down at Collingwood Park. The new nets will be replacing the old ones, which are very worn down and outdated. A much needed upgrade and one the club is very excited for. ... A huge Thankyou to the following organisations for making it happen WACA - Western Australian Cricket Association, Cricket Australia, The City of Albany, Albany & Districts Cricket Association and WACA - Great Southern Regional Cricket

04.01.2022 Another Thursday, another throwback! This time we go back to the A Grade Premiership winning side of the 2006/07 season. Going up against a North County side who they hadn't beaten in four attempts across the season, the underdogs came up winners in the best of three grand final series. Game 1 - Collingwood Park 7/204 def North County 9/203 Game 2 - Collingwood Park 4/254 def North County 227... What a team this was taking the club to it's second of an eventual 4-peat!

03.01.2022 CLUB AWARDS NIGHT POSTPONED Unfortunately the club has decided to postpone it's annual awards night and windup until further notice due to the current Coronavirus situation. In the mean time we would like to thank all our players, parents and volunteers for another great season at The Park. One that saw great improvement not only on-field but off-field as well.... The club would like to wish everyone the best in this challenging time. Get out and support the local community in any way you can, but most of all stay safe and healthy during this time. 03.01.2022 DEBUTANT #5 The weekends A Grade T20s saw yet another A Grade Debut. Club favourite Pat Barnett was presented his A Grade cap after many years playing Bs and it was thoroughly deserved. Shame the boys couldn't get a win for him. Up the Park!

03.01.2022 LAWN BOWLS NIGHT! CPCC will be hosting an evening of Lawn Bowls at the Albany Bowling Club Inc. on Thursday the 17th of September to unofficially kick off the 2020/21 cricket season. All new and returning players are invited to attend. A gold coin donation to the Bowling Club on entry is asked of all attending, as well as $10 to cover the cost of Pizzas. The Bar will be open on the night as well for a drink.... Spread the word, should be a great night. Look forward to seeing you all there!!

02.01.2022 TOUGH DAY FOR A GRADE The As had a tough day out in the first round of T20s, copping two heavy defeats at the hands of Railways and Mt Barker. Ben Grey was a shining light in the first game, while Dustin Boyce and Byron Spaanderman impressed in Game 2.... Up the Park!
