25.01.2022 This week we are learning about our Emergency Services. Today we talked and leant about fire trucks We listened to some very loud sirens, we watched a video of different types of fire trucks from around the world and we made our own collage fire trucks.

22.01.2022 As part of our NADOC week exploration we have been reading local indigenous Dreamtime Stories. This morning we visited Tiddalik the frog on the Condamine River. Tiddalik was a greedy frog who lived during the Dreamtime, he drank up all of the water from the land causing a drought then a great flood We also checked out the huge flood level maker which showed how high the Condamine River was during past flood events.
22.01.2022 This mornings adventure into the community took us to Wickham’s Transport where Braiths dad (Jake) took us on a driving tour of the truck Depot We seen trucks getting fixed in the work shop busy forklifts loading boxes into trucks . We seen tugs moving trailers, trucks getting washed and we met some friendly office staff
22.01.2022 Today we found a hairy apple on our play dough table after close examination Tyler and Emillia decided it was most definitely a hairy apple full of milk. After lunch we cracked open the hairy apple to find it was full of water and all white inside. Can you guess the scent of today’s play dough
21.01.2022 We started with 12 eggs and have successfully hatched 11 baby chicks The chicks are very inquisitive little things, can’t wait for the children to meet them next week.

20.01.2022 This mornings adventure took us on a mini bush walk. We met a friendly pony , seen some not so friendly bugs hiding on the trees , read a story on the picnic rug called A Walk in the bush followed by a picnic morning tea while listening to the birds talking in the trees above

13.01.2022 This morning we were very lucky to be taken on a tour of the Warwick Fire Station. Firefighters Brad and Matt showed us their brand new truck and all the equipment stored inside. We even got to use the fire hose to make some puddles to splash in
13.01.2022 Our book week celebrations continued today with dress ups, listening to the ocean in a shell and baking a delicious banana cake
13.01.2022 The wind has blown lots of leaves out of the trees today and onto the ground Millie and Tyler zoomed around on the balance bikes and collected the leaves in their back packs Sophie painted her leaves Millie and Tyler made leaf confetti

10.01.2022 This morning we have been super busy meeting and visiting our local Emergency Services. First up we had a visit from Police Officer Fahey and his police wagon We even got to turn on the lights and sirens We then loaded up Bessie bus and headed down to the SES head quarters. Lots of things and see and explore at SES. The Flood boat and 4x4 buggy definitely our favourite things to see

05.01.2022 This mornings adventure took us to the bike track We had a chat about road safety and read the road signs as we rode around the track On the way home we played spot the the purple trees (jacaranda trees) which are all out in full bloom at the moment.
