06.01.2022 A CALL TO PRAYER Last Sunday in our morning service, we remembered the Tamil family now detained on Christmas Island and awaiting imminent deportation: Priya, Nades, Kopika and Tharunicaa. Following a national call to prayer from Common Grace, tonight we join with Christians around Australia to pray for this family. Our hearts go out to them and gathering together to pray is one way we can respond. ... If you can, please join us in the sanctuary tonight (Tuesday) from 7 - 8 p.m. In addition to praying for this family of four, we will pray for the women seeking asylum that we host in Central House those in our community who suffer trauma from detention and live with great uncertainty.
