18.01.2022 On sunday 28th july 9 of our club members joined 30 or so members of the Hobart Vintage Machinery Society on a bus trip to the township of Woodsdale. We all met at the Glenorchy showgrounds and boarded our bus and headed to the sorell market for an hour of browsing and shopping , (where some unusual items to say the least were purchased).Upon reboarding our coach we headed off to woodsdale where at the community hall we were treated to an amazing homestyle counrty cooked meal... consisting of about 10 different main coarses and about the same amount of delisious desserts. Some of us decided to walk the short distance up hill to the museum (much needed after such a huge meal) where we toured the small but very well layed out sheds,old school and homestead , it is a credit to the woodsdale community for what they have put together.After reboarding the bus we headed home via oatlands and the midlands highway back to the showgrounds.We would like to thank everyone at HVMS for the invitation and all agreed it was a thoroughly enjoyable day. 01.01.2022 As from this week we are meeting every wednesday night to work on items we are taking to the national rally in feb of next year . We have alot of work to do before then so if you can, drop in for a couple of hours from around 4 pm onwards
