21.01.2022 Check out our A-Z guide for what to put in your green organics bin Please make sure that your caddy liners are 100% compostable (on the packaging it'll ca...rried the Compostable AS4736 symbol), or use newspaper or nothing at all. Degradable and biodegradable bags are NOT compostable and should go in your red LANDFILL bin. A-Z guides for your yellow and red bins can be found on our website https://www.tweed.nsw.gov.au/Waste

21.01.2022 It starts this Saturday...

15.01.2022 What a lovely note on one of the signage boards at the corner of our park. Well done RBR Property Consultants.

12.01.2022 HEADS UP - ROADWORKS THIS WEEK Try to avoid roadworks on Fraser Drive, from Vintage Lakes Drive roundabout north towards Drydock Road. These works are goi...ng to take another few weeks and could cause long delays. There’s still work happening in Kingscliff, with crews this week on Herford and Moss streets and Knox Court; in Murwillumbah, on Mistral Street near the Tweed Regional Gallery & Margaret Olley Art Centre; and in Bogangar on Poinciana and Kurrajong avenues. We’re also upgrading the stormwater drainage on Queensland Road in Murwillumbah. The upgrade is designed to improve motorist safety by installing drainage pipes and closing the existing deep open drains on both sides of the road between the Showgrounds and the Union Cane Drain. As part of the project we’re trialling the use of the glass sand (pictured) this is the first time we’re using this recycled product in the Tweed, and if the trial goes well we expect it to have a big future here. RMS is still working on Boyds Bay Bridge, Tweed Heads, so look out for changed traffic conditions there, with one northbound lane being closed from time to time. Stay safe and for more info www.tweed.nsw.gov.au/RoadWorks.
