We would like to thank the people who have shared their lived experience of homelessness through the Soundscape and the Libraries and Councils who are creating spaces so more people can listen and learn from these stories. #HW2019 #everybodyshome #colony47
09.01.2022 Being aware and taking the time to learn about what is already there is power. It enables us but also enables others when they need it.#HW2020 #colony47 #housingendshomelessness
08.01.2022 As a community, we need to consider the ‘invisible’ 92% of people who are staying in temporary, insecure, overcrowded and unsafe places. Colony 47 has produced a soundscape which we hope will start conversations about inequality in our community. The soundscape shares the stories of individuals who have lived experience of homelessness. It is a privilege to be able to share these stories and we hope it helps people to understand that homelessness is not something that happen...s to others, but it can happen to anyone. We thank everyone for sharing their stories, we have a lot to learn, and we hope that with greater understanding we can help to end homelessness in our community. https://colony47.com.au/homelessness-week-soundscape/

05.01.2022 We are always very grateful for the incredible support of local business and stores in Hobart, and here is another great example. Our Mara House team went to spend some of the recent donations from Dna Eating House only to be told our purchases at House Hobart will also be a donation. Thank you to all involved, we really appreciate your support.
01.01.2022 We were lucky enough to secure a table at Ristorante Da Angelo last week! It was great to catch up with Angelo and thank his amazing team for supporting Colony 47 through the Dollars for Change program. Over the last 10 years, Angelo, his team and customers have raised and donated upwards of $50,000 to Colony 47!
