13.01.2022 This week's Eye Candy feature is on one of Colour City Creatives most enthusiastic artists: Trish Lovecek. Whenever we had a challenge or a theme, Trish pushed the possibilities and came up with pieces with heart, depth and back story that was visually and emotionally involving.

12.01.2022 Let's start an Eye Candy feature that highlights one of Colour City Creatives artists. Today's Eye Candy is Wanda Driscoll. An artist with many, many brush miles. Her ability to paint what she sees is phenomenal!

10.01.2022 an update on Jola's work in progress, which quite possibly is finished..... though photographed upside-down..... I have heard that a good work should look good any way up

08.01.2022 May I show you another bit of history of CCC. This video is about the F.O.O.D. Week 2016 Art Exhibition at The Barracks in Orange NSW. Troy Pearson of Eyetrix came in one day and did a lengthy video with his drone. This is an edit version that we felt no music should be installed and a reasonable length was needed to really capture the essence of the our home from home.

07.01.2022 This week's Eye Candy feature is on Michael Carroll. A local artist with an enviable history of artistic dedication spanning many decades. You can see the experience in the breadth of work. You can see his careful eye and his sensitive soul in the delicacy of expression and expressive hand. A constant traveler and explorer, a wonderful human being. Also a recent winner of the Cabonne Art Prize. On top of being an artist he's an author of about 4 books, one a beautiful diary of his artistic travels and the others local history books sparked by the discovery of a suitcase of photos.

03.01.2022 This week's Eye Candy is a small selection of gorgeous work by the deft hand of Lanny Mackenzie - Fibre Artist & Weaver. She can transform the found, incorporated with what is on hand into a work of art, not only beautiful to the eye, but to the hand with it's gorgeous textures that calm the soul with the play of colour and complex purpose.

03.01.2022 A bit of nostalgia of when we were all able to have exhibitions and actually see art with the naked eye. This exibition is from CCC's early years, October 2012.

02.01.2022 making that little video reminded me that Phil and I once planned to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Barracks and so with full gusto I went and did some flyer options. Here's a couple from the photos we took on our walk..... Of course it didn't happen, but who knows, maybe we'll do the 85th anniversary :)

02.01.2022 Colour City Creatives potter, Jude still creating even in these covid19 times and sharing the love :)
