23.01.2022 So one of the other things I do is I run a shop in a shopping centre with about 30 makers involved. Yes it’s busy. Lockdown actually made my life busier because all of a sudden I had 100’s of product to photograph and load on to the website. And lucky me, I started a job as the manager of an art centre too. I love the job, it’s a challenge, however starting at the beginning of a pandemic again proved interesting. I am nothing if not resilient. However I am not sure how much creative time that leaves me! Because I am still a mum Nd partner. Although my son is pretty chuffed that I own a business and can put the word Manager in my work title. Who knows how much time I will be able to make for creating......

19.01.2022 So I have been going on a bit about how cold it’s been and at our house the wood fired burner has been working a treat. Oh and when it comes to which doona cover, I like to pick the soft mauves and Smokey greys and blues for winter warmth. Slide through to what I can’t wait to bust out for spring. 18.01.2022 We are opening THIS SATURDAY. Just for Mother’s Day shopping. We will have an entry door and an exit door, social distancing rules in place, and boy have we been cleaning. The shop looks a little different, we are all different I guess. It’s such a lovely big shop, there is lots of space to shop carefully and considerately. ... 17.01.2022 So I experimented with colour for a special order. Fist test on scrap fabric was meh..... second test was YES. This is the resulting doona cover. The person who ordered is this incredible down to earth, surfing , beach loving goddess who has done up the most amazing camper van and it’s going in there with some cushions too. I might be a little jealous.... must make one for me now
