25.01.2022 Printing product information into the neck of a T Shirt to make a Tagless Tee is easy. Using the all electric TOSH Mi Micro 90 with a custom print table designed and made by us on our CNC milling system, you can decorate the inside of the neck reliably and easily. Using Printcolor Series 660 ink the result is absolutely permanent and very fine detail can be printed, it also does not show though the garment. Printing requires a photopolymer plate and each plate can have two im...ages on it, for example two sizes saving costs. Plates can be stored and re-used, and are easily made using positive film and a screen printing exposure frame. Dedicated pad printing exposure systems are also available, as are laser etched CTP plates which eliminates film from teh process. Made to last for a lifetime TOSH machinery is made in Italy and industrial quality without compromise. #TOSH #tagless #MiMicro

24.01.2022 ..... pressure sensitive screen clamps?! :-/ I love that this works..... we all have to start somewhere!
24.01.2022 Why go round when you can go straight?
23.01.2022 Ink testing for a customer on his PU iPad covers - Happy to report excellent adhesion with Printcolor 382 (no hardener), Printcolor 660 (10:1 HDa) and Printcolor 711 (10:1 HDi). Any will work but we recommend 660 ink for this application for its hard wearing performance on synthetic materials.
23.01.2022 In the market for an ROQ automatic screen printing press or dryer? We deliver....
22.01.2022 To retain dot in CMYK images you sometimes need to run inks at different speeds, especially if you're printing in hot/dry conditions. Here the white needs to flash off quickly for good solid transfer while each successive colour needs to be a little slower to flash so as not to dry on the pad. We stock a range of Printcolor thinner from slow and medium to fast. You can use them straight or mixed together to achieve perfect transfer of every colour! http://ow.ly/uo7VJ
22.01.2022 We need more space to house the HUGE range of screen printing machinery and supplies we'll NOW be stocking just for YOU including; Discharge and water based inks and screen emulsions A demo S.Roque automatic screen printing press Demo flat bed and bench top heat presses And lots of other good stuff like screen preparation and reclaiming chemicals spot cleaners, split tapes, etc So we have moved to: Unit 1, 11 Natasha Street, Capalaba QLD 4157, please update your records.
20.01.2022 Grit transferred from product to your plate by the pad can scratch even a well hardened plate. When printing plastics that attract surface dust, take a moment to clean dry ink and accumulated particles from the ends of your plate regularly - it's quicker than replacing a scratched plate. Happy printing!
19.01.2022 Printing a lot of glassware? Check out our "imitation etch" colour which is available in all Printcolor ink series. It looks and feels just like an etch when printed on glassware and like laser engraving when printed on chrome or stainless steel surfaces.
19.01.2022 The very first S.Roque automatic screen printer and gas dryer to be installed in Australia are on their way! The 12 colour, 16 station S.Roque ECO press is due to arrive in late December - thanks Santa! We're looking forward to installing it and taking it for a spin! See more http://ow.ly/E5Uve
17.01.2022 We've been busy over the last week helping PSI Screen Printing install their ROQ International ECO 12 colour auto. Congrats to the PSI team for going green. We are excited to be introducing the ROQ International product to Australian screen printers. It's been a long haul with several overseas trips for training and to be sure they are a product suited to the unique requirements of the Australian screen printing industry - as always our philosophy is if we wouldn't use it then we wont recomend it, and without doubt the features and amazing reliability of the ROQ Green Machines have a place in making Australian screen printing profitable.
16.01.2022 We will be closed on Monday 22nd December until Monday 5th January. Should you need to contact us during this time please email mike.c at colourcomponents.com.au (checked daily). 15.01.2022 Were very excited to be working with Schuster Transferpressen of Germany, manufacturers of heat presses since 1989. Schuster's wide range includes small manual heat presses for the niche printer, right through to large format presses for all-over sublimation and on-mass printing of everything from transfers on bags and tees to sublimated MDF board. http://ow.ly/vNopA
15.01.2022 Printcolor 382 ink is a fantastic ink for pad printing stress toys. It dries quickly, has good colour and coverage, and is very competitively priced. Find out more at http://ow.ly/E5QKX
15.01.2022 Next time you print Polyprop. consider using 10-PP wipe primer as a pretreatment. It's safer than flaming with no chance of marking the product. It's also quick, long lasting and economical - check it out here http://ow.ly/uo6Ge
14.01.2022 Yellow is a difficult to reproduce on dark substrates without a white under-print... unless you're using Printcolor ink! Printcolor yellows have a high content of pure pigment which produces a bright true colour even when printed on dark surfaces. The logo on these blue pens is a single hit of Printcolor MS1005 yellow, and it looks fantastic.
13.01.2022 Come and see the award winning ROQ Eco 16/12 in our showroom.
12.01.2022 It can be difficult to maintain ink coverage on heavily textured surfaces like these leather coasters. When pad printing on textures always use the hardest, pointiest pad compatible with your product. There was no danger breaking these so the printer used a hard (64 shore) RE8762 which worked like a dream.
12.01.2022 Ain't technology grand? Mike (head techo) is trouble shooting a pad printing problem over Skype for a customer in New Zealand. A change of pad shape, some fine tuning of print strokes and ink flow had this job printing beautifully! If you're struggling with a print give us a call, we're here to help.
11.01.2022 Several hundred kilos of Printcolor ink arrived in store on July 1st. Perfect timing - one day earlier and we would have had to count it for stock take! If you haven't tried Printcolor pad and screen printing inks you should, because they'll save you time in the printroom and money on consumables. Find out more http://ow.ly/yGi1P

04.01.2022 Shop chemicals are a significant source of workplace hazards. Water based products contain less VOC's - that's techie speak for they are safer and don't stink as much Problem is the good stuff sometimes doesn't work as well. Not so with TEKMAR pallet adhesives, we have road tested them in our shop and given them the CComp water based performance stamp. TB-10 spray on, TB-HV spatula applied and TB-EZ for slippery fabrics all in stock now.... We also stock the TEKMAR spot cleaning guns and solutions. Going green is easy, you just need to make a decision to do it, Give us a yell, we'll ship to you pronto.
02.01.2022 These stress balls were printed with Printcolor 382 inks. As you can see the PMS colours held up beautifully across both the white and red balls. The printer was so chuffed that he didn't need to adjust the colours for the red balls he snap off a few photos just to show us!!!
01.01.2022 Have you checked out our squeegees? Our Edge Squeegees are sourced directly from the leading European manufacturer of urethane blades and have been developed specifically for demanding high production screen printing applications. The Edge squeegee blades are made from new hybrid cross-linked urethane elastomer that really raises the bar for resistance to solvent, UV and vinyl inks. Find out more. http://ow.ly/J2STv
01.01.2022 Patchy ink adhesion is almost always due to contaminants such as fingerprints, machining oils and mould release agents. For durable prints give products that are likely to have come in contact with contaminants a little wipe before you print. http://ow.ly/vNtRs
01.01.2022 Car bog is one of the best materials to cast product jigs quickly and easily. Simply coat your item with silicone spray to ensure good release, mix up a little bog and press it in. Pull the item out while the bog is still rubbery (not fully hardened) trim the edges and even out the top.... done!
