22.01.2022 SPRING IS IN THE AIR. What's the new colour trend for 2020? https://www.colourconsultantsbrisbane.com.au/2020-spring-c/

21.01.2022 I designed a colour scheme for the exterior of this client's home in Redland Bay a few months ago. The interior is very much Hampton style so we have used two shades of grey on the exterior. Just awaiting completion of the entire project, then I'll post some photos.

05.01.2022 IT'S IN MY BLOOD .... I have often been asked why I chose to be a colour consultant and I can’t help but confess It’s in my blood having grown up in a family of painters and decorators. My mother’s grandfather, William Frances Brebner, established a painting and decorating business in Warrnambool, Victoria in 1906. He and his wife, Agnes, had 13 children of which my grandmother Zoe was the eldest and my grandmother.... The family business was operated from Timor Street, Warrnambool and all four sons joined the business as painters and decorators. They did all of their own paint mixing and colour matching by eye. I think that’s where I have inherited some of their creative talents with an eye for colour. The business operated for over 50 years and I have fond memories of spending school holidays at the family home in Timor Street as a child. The shop was located at the front of the property and the residence behind. I would enjoy sneaking into the shop to watch my Uncle Alec work, tinting paint to produce various colours, stacking the shelves with rolls of wall paper and serving the customers. And from those fond memories, I knew I was destined to have a career in colour and I wouldn’t have it any other way.
