08.01.2022 Collection 1 is truly eclectic. It features a one off flashing light which was a fixture in Sydney's first casino, a mid last century timber and bakelite radio in excellent working order, a rare antique silver cow snuff box from Chester England... along with a very collectible walking robot, complete with walkie talkie and box from Japan. More antiques and decorator items will be featured in the near future, along with nature's antiques.....crystals and fossils as well as she...lls. An exciting new range of crystal jewellery is in process featuring unique crystals sourced by Colourscapes with Senta's individually designed sterling silver settings.... 02.01.2022 As creating interesting and practical design space has been my occupation and passion for three decades, it came to me that during this time of isolation for many, user friendly design ideas may be of interest. Some of what is said will act as a reminder and hopefully will help you to ground and create, during a time when morale tends to be low. All that is needed is T-M-T!!... What's that you may ask? Time - Muscles- Thought!! Well........ There is plenty of time since many are isolating. Muscles are probably needing more of a workout by now. Thinking about the best ways to utilize each room and make your home more functional, would add motivation to long days spent at home and purpose too! SETTING UP A CREATIVE MOOD. Choose some music you love that makes you feel good. Candles? Aromatherapy....whatever you have, after all we are in isolation!! (If you do have cedarwood and bergamot they not only lift your mood but emit a wonderful woody fragrance ....like being in a forest). A special notebook you may have saved for a 'rainy'/Covid 19 day......unanticipated.......there can be joy in spontaneity!! THE CHALLENGE. To use resources you already have and create with those. QUESTIONS THAT RELATE TO YOUR INDIVIDUAL DESIGN SPACE... THESE WILL BE PUBLISHED ONE EVERY FEW DAYS. Here's the first and the MOST IMPORTANT. Ask yourself how you tend to use the spaces you have throughout the place you call 'Home'. Q: Are you walking around objects to get from A to B? A: Experiment with placing furniture differently? Q: Are you storing things in certain areas, again because that's where you put them when you moved in? A: Ask yourself if they would be better off being in a different room or another drawer where you wouldn't have to bend so much to retrieve items you use on a regular basis? (Wouldn't it be a great idea to place things you hardly use in hard to reach places instead of having them easily accessible? That should be reserved for things you use every day). A serious consideration of and action around these questions should keep you busy for at least the next few days. ANY QUESTIONS?
