05.01.2022 Some @fleurosun ornamental sunflower heaven these sunflowers firstly are real they are the results of a breeding project by artist @durhamjwhite ‘s father which started some 45 years ago and has been solidly working on them since around 2003. FleuroSun experienced its best year ever this last year with demand from cut florists and growers seeing them currently sold out of packet seed. . The sunflowers are pollen free, but it doesn’t mean the bees are ignored. A...ctually they play an important role in helping with the crossing process more so than ever these days . Yes, they branch out from more than just the common Classic Gold, with a huge array of coloured varieties. They also come in 3 heights - from dwarf 25-40cm to compact 60-90cm through to the standard 110-130cm. .
