20.01.2022 After two rounds in the kiln, everything get scraped, sanded, washed and checked and sorted before the process of photographing starts. Once photographed all images gets cropped, numbered and named. Then (finally) it’s time to upload to the website, where price, measurements and descriptions are added So many steps to do - but I love them all.

20.01.2022 Green on soft creamy white stoneware clay.

18.01.2022 Many of my ceramics pieces are ‘one off’s’. I seek to implement a ‘go with the flow’ frame of mind to my art practice, let the creative process takes its course - and just enjoy the whole process. I also believe this is why I keep loving it so much

15.01.2022 Before and after So many things changes from when you first lay your hands on the clay, till you open up the kiln. You make, they dry, they get fired, you glazed, they get fired again, you sand, you clean and then finally you take a picture .......and I love it

12.01.2022 It is not even December yet and I am already in full Christmas mode. It’s my favourite time of year because you get to decorate your house, your garden and of cause your tree. And I love decorating I also love to make my own Christmas tree decorations, and in my online shop you will see examples of that. Made of clay - both fine white and rustic brown - these ornaments looks good on any tree. They are cute little gifts for teachers and Secret Santa as well. Or why not gift yourself - I am sure you deserve it www.coloursongrey.com.au

11.01.2022 Spent all day yesterday bringing some Christmas Hygge to the studio ~ getting ready for Sunday’s Open Studio Event ~ Country Christmas Sunday 13th December - Open from 10am to 4 pm

11.01.2022 This is a painting I did earlier this year in the aftermath of the local bushfires. It’s raw, emotional and very meaningful to me. Besides paint and ink I used charcoal collected at the site, where I spend a day painting the devastation. I made a profound impression on me - sitting there, surrounded by burnt out bush Today I decided to enter this painting in The Inverell Art Gallery’s yearly competition ~ as a reminder that we must never forget what happened only months ago
