Start-Up Teams with not much more than an idea have a tough ride. 2. The Industry: Investors need to understand and be comfortable with the broader picture of what industry or area they are allocating into. 3. The Offer itself: The specific offer of the deal or company itself matters. The common mistake for first-time capital raisers is to think that it is the only thing that matters.
