25.01.2022 Attention Year 11 students - Senior jackets final payment due! Please make sure your final payment is made by Wednesday 27th May. This will guarantee you receive your jacket on arrival. If you have any questions please see Miss Grewal, Ms Gibson or Ms Dobie. Please be advised that due to new office organisation and health considerations, no cash payments will be accepted by the office and payments can only be made over the phone.

22.01.2022 We have had to adjust our 2021 subject selection processes due to constraints around community access to the school in the current covid health context. We cannot hold the usual information nights, as a result and have had to do things diffferently this year. Our upcoming Subject Selection Day is for all Year 10 students entering Year 11 in 2021. A note has been sent home last week of Term 2. This post is a reminder. Students will receive all the information they need to mak...e an informed choice on the day, including an information booklet and form to be completed, which then needs to be returned by the following Tuesday. Please continue to monitor our communication channels including our social media sites to remain informed. Should you have questions or like additional support around your childs subject selection please do not hesitate contact the school.

13.01.2022 This week is officially School Administrative and Support (SAS) Staff Recognition Week, a time set aside to acknowledge and thank the often unsung heroes in our school. Our SAS staff play an important role in our school community, being the first people you see when you enter a school, tending to students when theyre unwell, they are essential to maintaining positive relationships with students, parents and our community. SAS staff work in school offices, in classrooms and l...ibraries, print room, kitchens, they maintain and care for school grounds and buildings and they ensure the efficient management of how our school functions. At Colyton High School, we are fortunate to have a wonderful SAS team and we thank each of them for their contributions to the school and for their continual support of students, staff and our school community.

10.01.2022 Our Federal MP for Lindsay, Melissa McIntosh visited Colyton High School on Friday to join our students, Vice Captains and Principal, Mr Butler, in officially opening our new volleyball courts. She then enthusiastically swapped from heels into joggers to join excited Year 10 PASS students in a friendly, if not slightly competitive, game. But fun was definitely the winner here! Our new all-weather courts are very popular with students across all years and have been made possible through the Local Schools Community Fund. We thank Melissa and all those involved in delivering this great new resource to the students at Colyton High School. We will be enjoying it for many years to come!

05.01.2022 Senior jackets final order! Cost: $105 - This must be paid in full to the front office. - Payment Options Below! Parents/ caregivers are not able to make onsite payments. Instead we ask that you pay via the phone. Students can make payments via Eftpos only (cash will not be accepted).... Deadline: Term 2 Week 9, Monday 22nd June 2020. Please note that a minimum of 10 student orders must be placed and paid for in full, to ensure that the order can be processed. Jackets may take approximately 6-7 weeks to arrive. Colyton High School is calling out to members of our local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community who would like to represent on a merit selection panel to fill some teacher vacancies at Colyton High School. Responsibilities include: Joining a panel as a team member to represent community Undertaking a short online training course in merit selection processes,... Being available to meet at negotiated times (usually up to 3 times) Be willing to contribute to the merit selection process to fill a vacancy such as writing the advertisement, shortlisting candidates, interviewing candidates and helping select successful candidates. This is a really valuable opportunity to represent community and contribute to the recruitment of quality teaching staff of Colyton High School.
