25.01.2022 Sydney, it's been raining all day Some love it, others hate it, but don't let it stop you from going for that run! See below for our top tips for going for a run in the rain: 1. Embrace the fact that you're going to get wet... 2. Never wear cotton - cotton absorbs water. Try wearing merino wool or polyester which make them warmer and a better fabric choice for running in the rain. 3. Put on a hat to protect your head, especically if you wear contacts. It won't keep your head dry, but it'll help keep the rain out of your eyes. 4. Wear the right socks. Avoid the cotton ankle socks when it's raining! 5. Avoid the chafing with some vaseline. Apply it to areas that have a lot of friction like your sock ends. 6. Change up your mindset - be position and focus on that great feeling at the end of your run. 21.01.2022 Top tip for the best smoothies - make sure at least one of your fruits is frozen to create a thicker consistency than using ice. Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe: 1 cup strawberries (fresh or frozen) 1 banana (fresh or frozen)... cup milk (can sub out milk for orange juice, or apple juice) Pop the ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth. For a thinner consistency, add more milk and keep blending until the consistency is to your liking.
