18.01.2022 Cleaning with microfibre. What is microfibre? Microfibres are so thin (100 times thinner than a single strand of human hair) that when they are woven together they create a surface area 40 times more than that of a regular cleaning cloth. Micro-fibre cleaning cloths are generally made of two different fibres. One for soaking up oil (made of Polyester) and the other for soaking up water (made of Nylon). Ordinary cleaning towels move or push dirt and dust from one place to anot...her but microfibre lifts or scoops the dirt and stores the dirt particles in the cloth, until it is washed. Microfibre can absorb up to seven times its weight in water. Microfibre cloths are also extremely durable. They can be washed up to 300+ times and still maintain their effectiveness. Most soils are quickly removed with microfibre, leaving a clean, streak-free surface. See more

16.01.2022 What is the difference between cleaning and sanitisation? Regular cleaning is a very different process to sanitisation. This involves removal of visible debris, dirt, dust and marks. Our regular cleaning includes tasks such as emptying bins, vacuuming, mopping, dusting, cobweb removal, cleaning of skirting boards and spot cleaning entry glass. Sanitisation cleaning with hospital grade disinfectant reduces the number of pathogens, bacteria, viruses and fungi. These types of mi...croorganisms are invisible, unlike the visible dirt and dust. This is a longer process, as the solution must be in contact with the surface for a specific length of time along with some other steps to prevent cross contamination. Disinfecting a surface that hasn’t been cleaned first is ineffective and disinfecting does not replace cleaning. Disinfecting and sanitising does not kill everything 100%, but reduces the "nasties" to a safe level. A two-step approach, of cleaning and then sanitising the area, is the most effective way to protect yourself, your staff and your clients during this time. See more
