25.01.2022 Ok something else we have been building that's not race related but more the business side is a PTO that bolts up to the current 79 series landcruiser driving a 14cc hydraulic pump, this setup is for a clients winch but could run compressors/ gen set etc. We are quite happy with this 1st prototype and look forward to refining the product and seeing them in use.

11.01.2022 Big thanks to WSM - Western Suburbs Mechanical, #thetorqueteam, #gulfwesternoils, the car is now dynod and runs sweet, 660nm torque @ 4000rpm and over 320hp... Its not tuned to a inch of its life, now to get it painted and back out racing.

05.01.2022 2017 Benaraby 2 car, stage #1 Problem ended up being someone didn't turn the circuit breaker on for the thermo fans

05.01.2022 So 3 car last year was the last real outing for me B2 has done cliffy with wasted racing. We both did rocket round 1 in stock class & this was the impetus to start a budget build that was supposed to be cheap and done by rocket round 2 ! Well safe to say that ship has sailed. We have a former limited Aus 4 build that will be the new crawler, B2 has pulled the wiring & is in the process of rewire. We have mounted front and rear suck down winches relocated battery installed th...e comp and air tank and started a new dash as the old unit had switches and controls out of reach when harnessed. The front diff center is swapped out for a 4.6 locked unit rear still has to be done and painted exhaust and cooling system finished, at this rate we may make round 1 rocket next year. The poorol is catching dust nicely and might make 3 car next year haaa See more

03.01.2022 New rims arrived today just gotta decide on the finish leave them or powdercoat ?

03.01.2022 So we have had a quite holiday period race car related with big plans for the suspension upgrades this year and a move away from winch truck racing into short course events. I was going to sell all the arms shocks and springs we werent using but had an idea with the old leafy ute. I sourced a donor wagon chassis and filled my time between xmas and new year doing the chassis swap with help from 1/2 job and Josh. Its nearly complete now with surrogate chassis number to be org...anized and engineering to blue plate. it has 4.6 diffs that have transformed the old slug somewhat and remote res shocks all round, the tray has been shortened 500 mm from original length. got sliders and some panel repairs and she will be done. So until we have the article finished the only events we are doing are in stock class . The front will get a spare locker from the race car and we will run 35s and do locked class next. See more

What a great job every year you guys and gals to, thanks to all the competitors and a big congratulations to all the top 3 teams, great job..
