19.01.2022 My grandson Rolley found me the beautiful large scallop shell used in this piece whilst on holiday at Marion Bay. The diameter was enough for five strands of scallop shells to hang perfectly. On the inside of an open window or outside in the entertainment area the tingling sound when caught by a light breeze is very soothing

04.01.2022 I am always in awe of the unique patterns, colours and shapes of each individual scallop shell and wonder what defines them. What elements in the ocean gave them their natural beauty? Is it purely genetic ? The relaxing tinkling melody of the shells when captured by a light breeze is music to your ears and would definitely soothe the savage beast.
