14.01.2022 BEWARE OF NON GENUINE COMET PARTS.....This customer learnt the hard way!! Always rely on Comet genuine parts when replacing parts and servicing your Comet mill. Check the attached photos of a poorly manufactured connecting rod. Welding fabrication extremely rough, oiler tube wrong size and wear in crosshead location area. This is only one example of many we know of.

12.01.2022 So we have just completed our latest install over the ditch in New Zealand for a couple that needed water pumped from 150 metres bore depth and enough water for both domestic and stock use. Our Comet 22FT D Pattern on a 40ft tower with our 2.5" Heavy Duty Draw Plunger pump was perfect for their requirements!! All up and running within 5 days, lowered 26 lengths of 6.1m 3 inch stainless steel bore delivery pipe and 26 lengths of stainless steel pump rod and water a plenty! Great job by the Comet boys and great hosts/owners Ian & Maggie Hutchinson. Hopefully more iconic Comet water pumping mills to go over to NZ.

11.01.2022 Comet has just launched our new range of non pumping C Pattern mills purely aimed at buyers wanting an iconic piece of outback Australiana in their garden, driveway entrance or anywhere that will make a beautiful aesthetic addition to a property. Left in a "RAW" state of manufacture to give that old look. Available in 8ft ($6,000 +) or 10ft ($6,500 +) wheel diameter on a 20ft tower. Or we can custom make to suit own personal requirements.

04.01.2022 Went out to Woodford Qld today after we set up our site at Farm Fantastic Caboolture to check out Norm's display mill which he wanted as a feature in his yard and loved the idea of having a Comet, iconic Oz history. Looks awesome and neighborhood jealous. Now available as non pumping units in raw steel or galvanised for an attractive addition to your driveway entrance or garden.
