09.01.2022 I love these flowers but did you know that lilies are toxic to cats? Cats and kittens are often drawn to the common floral arrangement, playing with them and sometimes chewing parts of the plant, usually going unnoticed by owners. Ingestion of ANY part of lilies (including flowers, stem, leaves and roots) can cause severe irreversible kidney failure and death within 3-7 days of exposure. Signs of lily toxicity can include vomiting, depression, loss of appetite, increased drinking and dehydration.
