24.01.2022 Last week the SRC took some time to write positive quotes in our playground to inspire our learning.

23.01.2022 Students will be given an opportunity to purchase an extra gift from the Fathers Day / Uncles Day / Grandfathers Day Stall tomorrow if needed. Gifts will be sent home on Thursday or Friday.

23.01.2022 Today 5/6B looked at the probability of different colours in lollies. After separating the colours we put them into fractions, then calculated the decimals and percentages. A few disappeared during the counting process

22.01.2022 K/1C have been enjoying the warmer weather by taking their classroom outside.

21.01.2022 In Stage 3 we used a program called Padlet. This program enabled all students to have a say on a topic and it is displayed in real time for all other students to see. In this session each child or group contributed a comment about what they had learnt when the youth liaison officer from Windsor Police came and spoke to us about cyber safety.

21.01.2022 Book fair 2020 Attached to this post are pictures of the books/stationery and their prices. Students will view the books today and will bring home a wishlist. See the instructions on the note or in these images for how to order. Please note that when ordering online on the Scholastic site you do not need to choose the items they are purchasing and only need to put in an amount. Please ensure that the back of the wishlist includes your payment details for students to collect ...their books. Students will receive their books on Monday or Tuesday. The last day of the fair is Tuesday and any orders can be placed until then. Please contact the office if you have any questions. Small posters are $2 and large posters $4.

21.01.2022 Entries for the Premiers Reading Challenge close next Friday 28 August. All books your child has read will need to be entered on the PRC website by then.

20.01.2022 Here is a snapshot of some of the work completed by students across the school during their RFF times. Stage 3 were looking at animals that can be found in leaf litter and classifying them into their animal groups. K/1T were making forms of transport that exist now, in the past or might exist in the future.

20.01.2022 Athletics carnival postponed Unfortunately we have had to postpone our athletics carnival due to the weather conditions. We have rescheduled it for next Friday 14 August, weather permitting.

19.01.2022 Over the last few days 2/3G have been creating draft advertisements using a criteria. They investigated which foods were least popular in the canteen, so that they could help them to sell. Once they completed their draft other students gave them feedback to improve their work.

15.01.2022 K/1T have been learning about writing informatively. They planted flowers in our front garden to help make it beautiful. Once they finished planting, they wrote a procedure about how they did it.

11.01.2022 Our students recently celebrated Indigenous Literacy Day. This day focuses on Indigenous culture, stories, language and literacy. Students participated in yarning circles and learnt about the importance of storytelling in Indigenous culture.

11.01.2022 Fathers Day / Uncles Day / Grandfathers Day Stall Gifts from $4 - $10. The stall will look a little different this year in line with our current restrictions. Children will choose their gift and then a note will be sent home advising of the cost. Gifts will be sent home on Thursday or Friday once the money has been collected.... Students will view the available gifts tomorrow and Wednesday.

11.01.2022 Thank you to our students and community members for supporting our book fair. It was the first time we have been exclusively online and the response was wonderful. We have now closed the book fair and are awaiting collection of the stock. Please do not place any more orders online. If the book your child wanted was sold out, we have placed an order for these. Once we receive them we will pass them on to your child.
